Hi,
I aquired a Singer 68 recently. There's no tag on it so I don't what subseries it is. All I know is,according to the original owner, it makes 28 stitches and is adjustable from 5/16" to 5/8" in 'length'. He used it for tacking key chains and sail canvas. Anyway, after using it, I found the covering stitch is too wide for tacking jeans belt-loops. So, I was wondering if I could adjust the width of the covering stitch? Or I need buy another cam to meet my acquirement? Though, what I really want is a 42 stitches bartacker. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.
Chris
