Wherever they go for a honeymoon I bet they don't get a suntan. . . I wonder if they have even come up for air, yet? lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9

Given the forecast: Happy is the bride that rain falls on May your mornings bring joy and your evenings bring peace. May your troubles grow few as your blessings increase. May the saddest day of your future Be no worse than the happiest day of your past. May your hands be forever clasped in friendship And your hearts joined forever in love. Your lives are very special, God has touched you in many ways. May his blessings rest upon you And fill all your coming days. We swear by peace and love to stand, Heart to heart and hand to hand. Hark, O Spirit, and hear us now, Confirming this our Sacred Vow. ~traditional Irish blessing lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9

What's your favorite discontinued snack food?
oldwomanc6 replied to oldwomanc6's topic in The Bonfire
I'm still sad when I think about this product, because no one has even come close to replicating it. Nabisco used to have Mr. Salty Veri-thin. The thinnest pretzel sticks ever! They were so good. There were two kinds; the version in the box with the wax paper bag/liner with the clear salt, and the better version in a chip bag with the white pretzel salt. That was my all-time favorite snack, ever!!!! I miss those something fierce, and have for decades. What's your favorite snack food that is no longer available? lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9 -

Wow, I wasn't around when this adoption took place. You have a good heart, I'm glad he's doing great!

Even if your goal is also to pass the people you are following. Am I supposed to pull over every time someone pulls up behind me when I'm trapped behind other drivers? Most states have laws that supersede "stay right except to pass" when the traffic is heavy enough to make this impractical. That said, I'm usually going faster than others, but what I hate is some guy who comes up behind me faster than me, and I'm polite enough to move over for him (as should be), but then he sits next to me in the left lane until I have to make the decision to either slow down or drop it it to a lower gear to get back in front of him in order to not be trapped behind the guy in right lane who was way up there when I moved over. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9

There would be a lot less road rage if entitled assholes would chill out. See attachment.... Mr.owc6 and I live on a 50+mile long peninsula with a two-lane each direction highway. We see them set up (camped in) the left lane a good five miles before they need to turn left at any given point on this highway, just to be sure they don't miss it. We call it "They must be turning left in Lusby", which is almost at the end of the peninsula. If you are even a halfway aware or decent driver, a quarter to a half- mile is plenty of time to get to the left turn/exit. Otherwise, get the fuck out of the left lane on a two-lane highway except to pass. It's the law in most places, BTW, not just a courtesy. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9

I love it. Yep. I wish the cops would enforce this more often. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9

I'm a cat person, for sure. I hate how dogs are all up in your business, all the time. I don't generally hug people, Kind of the same thing. Cats just need a stern talking to and they back the frick off. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9

That's why we have cats. Two kids was enough for me. Five cats is nothing compared to a couple of kids. We have four black ( and proud of it: most people don't want to adopt them) and at the most adorable black and white kitten who has mixed up their life in the best way. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9

Even if it wasn't faked, Who the heck even believed the hawk had intent to bomb? It has scarcely been a week or two since I posted about having to dodge a fish dropped on top of my Vert. Did I think they (bald eagle and osprey) did it on purpose? Sheesh! lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB 9 -
