Aggressive? Or simply defensive? You went in there to kick it out of it's "home" and kill it. Again, I can understand it's behavior. Kinda funny. When I was a little kid, I was taught that honeybees are not aggressive (wasps are different). And instead of panicking and flailing around, I should just stand still. Never got stung. In general, the same thing works for snakes. (yes, there are exceptions). What's the difference, when it comes to Kill or bee killed? Yes, most snakes will not be a problem if left alone. They will slither away if they can, but if I uncover a nest of copperheads while moving the trash cans, they generally will lash out and so will I. Or if I disturb a Black snake 6-7footer while picking blackberries, it's likely to chase me back up the hill, so don't tell me that the internet hype about snake aggressiveness is BS. I've seen it first hand, and I've also had a cat bitten by a rattler. She survived and cost a fortune. We were just discussing that while watching awhile ago. I took a serious test today for a medgas cert. The other students woundn't STFU during the test. I finally stood up and told them all to STFU. Class went silent. No common courtesy in this world anymore it seems.Cool.
