my 1st jump, had this rollercoaster feeling first 5-8 seconds, then full joy till the ground. Never felt the rollercoaster thing again, but the joy is aways bigger. Just be careful of a few things : it's highly addictive it will cost you loads of money it will cost you all your non skydiving friends it will cost you your family WHO CARES i'm sure you'll love it ---------- Fumer tue, péter pue ------------- ourson #10, Mosquito Uno, CBT 579

congrats to you ! maybe check with your instructors what they suggest for a rig, maybe wait a few jumps before getting anything welcome to the real world, where gravity always wins ---------- Fumer tue, péter pue ------------- ourson #10, Mosquito Uno, CBT 579

I think you're right... teh best as we already discussed would be to do a canopy control course, and after all that, it won't be flaaaare, but flaaaaaaaaa(wow!)aaare ---------- Fumer tue, péter pue ------------- ourson #10, Mosquito Uno, CBT 579

don't worry, everything's OK, your safe and in one piece, ready to go up again. My worse jump was jump 4, the 1st with nobody in my back... Was so stressed, totally rigid in the air, JM helped me with my PHT, and put my hand on the PC for opening ! I was so angry that I asked everyone to come back in the plane to have another load, I couldn't leave Miami with this bad impression ---------- Fumer tue, péter pue ------------- ourson #10, Mosquito Uno, CBT 579

Swoop with a spectre, good or bad?
lazyfrog replied to drenaline's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
flame flame, I have the double of jumps, so I am MUCH more experimented than you I think it's ok to swoop a spectre, many friends do it, some at www.babylon-freefly do it, bruno http://www.exoticskyadventures.nl/staff/brokken.htm brokken does it... it's not the longest swoop you will get in your life, bbut it can already be very cool just take care not to hit the ground. It's maybe more physical to front riser turn it, as the canopy is rock solid, anchored in the air, but there are techniques to help ---------- Fumer tue, péter pue ------------- ourson #10, Mosquito Uno, CBT 579 -

the stuff aviatrr wrote about seem very cool. for the neck you can get these motorbike thing which cover chest and neck/chin, but do not go too high... cause if you want to wear your helmet... unless you have a real flexible helmet (or head) ---------- Fumer tue, péter pue ------------- ourson #10, Mosquito Uno, CBT 579

it's too cold when the plane is stuck to the ground because of the ice. happened to the goteborg (gothenburg) club 2 or 3 years ago for their new year's eve jump session they deiced the plane, but the wheels were frozen... ---------- Fumer tue, péter pue ------------- ourson #10, Mosquito Uno, CBT 579

Elliptical X-braced Tri-cell (reme) - I'm not sure of the FX vs. VX part of the nomenclature. in this case X stands for cross, like boarder-X, skier-X etc... in my case I used to be an Xtreme sleeper... My record is 38 hours, with just a 15 minute break to eat something and empty something else , but used to sleep 12-14 hours a day ---------- Fumer tue, péter pue ------------- ourson #10, Mosquito Uno, CBT 579

well, it's a strange question... men are men... and despite what some might say, all different (even if some easily have same characteristics). in my experience, many skydiving girls look for instructors/highly experienced guys, and don't even talk to guys with less than 2000 jumps ---------- Fumer tue, péter pue ------------- ourson #10, Mosquito Uno, CBT 579

www.burton.com or any other, some bag (big) so he can put his stuff in... I'm sure he's not against a new rig maybe if you have some kind of abudget for the present, might be easier for us to help you maybe tshirt/shirt/sweater or order the soulflyers DVD at info@flyyourbody.com available next month normally ---------- Fumer tue, péter pue ------------- ourson #10, Mosquito Uno, CBT 579

in many places in europe the "legal" minimum is 200, seen people starting at 60, not a good idea. The most important IMHO is not to think about the images you'll bring back, but your flying with others outside a formation... and you have to do it safely... Little by little the images will be better I started at something like 250 ---------- Fumer tue, péter pue ------------- ourson #10, Mosquito Uno, CBT 579

just wanted to know how often you repack... not the same as a previous poll asking if you did it in the legal deadline... ---------- Fumer tue, péter pue ------------- ourson #10, Mosquito Uno, CBT 579
