How about a buddy list of some sort?
weegegirl replied to weegegirl's topic in Suggestions and Feedback
Hey Sangiro, Was just thinking. The first thing I do when I get to the forums is check the "Who's Online" page to see if any of my buds are checked in. It's not that much of a pain, but you have to scroll through the long list, which often times is over 100 peeps. Any way that we could have a buddy list option so that certain people would appear at the top of the list or at the side if they are online? Am I a total dork? Just a thought. Please feel free to ignore me. -
HAHAHAHA!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrreat! Next time I'm in Ohio with WrongWay, we'll be sitting their with a Weegie Board , a candle, and a bat. This draws beautiful images in my head.

Well, I know I'm going to go. I'm just teasing about jumping instead. I love my whuffo friends... they rock. My dillema is really choosing between the two weddings. I love em all so much and it just sucks that I'm in a spot that I should have to choose. Even hopping from one to the other means I'll at least miss the reception from the first one. It's a no win situation.

How smart do you have to be to use a pair of scissors?
weegegirl replied to skybytch's topic in The Bonfire
Sweet! Da Bytch just gave away all her secrets! Now I know how to sew just from reading this post!!! -
What's "season"? Yeah yeah yeah... cute. Don't you have some scissor practicing to do somewhere???
-
Okay. Here's the problem. I'm a horrible friend and I never return phone calls. Well, I finally did, just in time to find out that two close friends have booked their weddings on the same weekend. One in the late afternoon, and one at night. BUT... the wedding are BOTH in NC, about 45 minutes from each other. This is during season, so normally I would skip em and go jumpin instead. One wedding is for one of my very best college bud's, Chris. All of my college friends will be there that I only see about once a year. The hangover usually lasts a minimum of three days. The other is for a pair of very close friends that are simply awesome people. Their friends are way freakin cool and there are likely to be a few base jumpers in the crowd. Both couples are putting mad preasure on me to go. AGH! Why do people get married on season???? Haven't they learned yet????

yay! me too! you guys rock!!!!

Searches would seem more likely to be tracked. Especially searches for particular words where the output is limited by the criteria "only show posts made by PhillyKev". That may not be the case, and even if it is it may not be relevant. Just a thought. Blues, Dave in my opinion, a search like that means nothing. how many people on here search for "posts made by X" every day. i know that when i'm bored i search to see what my friends have been posting about so i can go highjack their threads and pick on em. sucks that this happened. really. but you don't want to falsly accuse someone just for being bored and running a few searches.

I agree with Chrissay, lay off the crack pipe hon. And trust me people, he was ~~~SCARED~~~ last night! I was talking to him on the phone when the whole door slamming incident happened. He started breathing all heavy and talking all weird. Next thing you know I hear his car starting up. The ghost scared him right out of the house!!!!!!!!!! LOL! No, it's cool. I believe in ghosts. I think haunted places are COOL! Hey hon..... BOO! hahahhahahahahahahahahahaha!
-
Thanks, dude. Either way, I'm coming home after that interview, putting my feet up, and having a nice glass of wine. (gotta have something to look forward to!)

Mmmmmm... coffee. Yeah... that's pretty funny, your little "Sporto" slip up. Hey... did you know, the other day, I bought a pair of black boots that are "Sportos". No shit. That's a brand for shoes/boots these days! Wrongway saw the shoe box and had a good laugh. Okay, so here is my morning news... I'm drinking my coffee and preparing my presentation for my interview at the AOL headquarters this afternoon. Just finished IRONING (yes, I really used an iron) my nice clothes and have them ready to go. My portfolio is updated with the latest copies of my work. And I am a ball of nerves. I have another interview tomorrow morning in downtown DC. And yet another interview on Friday morning in Fairfax. If I don't have a job offer by early next week, I don't deserve a job.

Ok - wait - maybe I'm not understandng the definition of steamroller anymore. BRAT! You just have to take something silly and innocent and corrupt it, don't you???? Oh, wait... that's the job of a turtle, isn't it?

I like to steamroll a certain dude to wake him up in the morning.

I've worked for TekSystems before. I had a great working relationship with the guy who hired me. The contract job was pretty decent and the pay was relatively high for the job. The job did not have benefits. The contract was renewed easily. They even gave me a Christmas present. All in all... one of the better consulting firms I've worked for. Also, even after I left that job for a better job offer (or so I thought a better job offer), TekSystems stayed in touch and sent me more and more job offers. If you have any more questions, feel free to PM me.

I just went and had ice cream at cold stone!!! Sorry, I'm evil. No, I'll play I guess. I wanna lose 10 more pounds. So here... 10/0. Let's go!

Thanks for starting this, Dave. It's a good idea. Obviously, something like this will never be "enforced", but having recommendations available is a great idea. The only part that concerns me is: Personally, I think it's a BAD idea to start head flying before really learning to sit fly. How is the student supposed to know whether or not they are maintaining a heading of 90 degrees to jump run? How are they to know that they are not just back tracking or whatever? I have seen this way too many times, where a new headflyer thinks they are "right on", and can't understand why they ended up in the same airspace as the group ahead or behind them. Scary. If someone wants to start head flying, don't you think it would be better to do 2 ways with an experienced friend or coach until they have found the "neutral spot"? Just my thoughts.

Wow! I just started reading Dan Brown's The DaVinci Code last night and it ROCKS! Couldn't put it down. You can tell that a lot of art research was put into that book. It's fast and intriguing. And I hear they are in the midst of making a movie on it. Check it out.

that is SO grose.

Had a fun evening with my sweetie. Did some drinkin at home and then drunk dialed almost everyone in my phone book. We did our "night out" the next night when things weren't as chaotic. Got all dressed up and went to see Rick Vos the comedian and some other chick. They were funny as hell.
-
Yup. It's not nearly as good on DVD as it was in the IMAX, but I still liked it a lot. We watched it with my Mom the other night. She bit her nails through all the base jumps. Ha!

I watched WrongWay ride on a mechanical bull once. Now THAT was funny!!!!!!!!!
