Good question! They are each great in their own way. The final "package" will tell all I guess... the job, pay, benefits, etc all put together. Then I'll do some hard thinking, some drinking, and some decision making. I'm actually hoping to have a third offer by tomorrow from the interview I'm going to right now. And I have another interview tomorrow morning with a different job all together. At some point I guess I have to stop and pick. Not a bad place to be.

Yup. I MISS YOU GUYS!!!!!! I've been here since last Monday. Interviewing like a mad woman. It's pretty cool that it only took a week to get a job! I wish I could come up to see you guys this weekend.

Oh hellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllo!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, job offer #1 came in just a few minutes ago. It's seriously a kickass job. And the pay is GREAT!!! It's right across the street from a metro station so I could take the train to work. (Not to mention the starbucks that's right at the top of the metro stairs.) If I take this job, which is a contract that should last at least 1 1/2 years, it would be fantastic on my resume at the end!!!! This afternoon is the final interview for another job I've been going for. There are only 3 candidates left including myself. So, by tomorrow afternoon I'll be making a decision.

Man! I stink at this weight loss thing. I think I gained about 2 pounds this weekend! It was my brother and his wife's last weekend in the USA for another year, so they went nuts. They made lobster one night and fillet mignon the next. On Saturday, we drank wine from 2pm till 2am. And I snacked ALL DAY! It was paradise!!! Okay, okay, okay... soooooooooon I will start taking all of this seriously. I only need to drop about 10 though, so no biggie.

I would never fault anyone for sharing. I used to share opening. I think I, and maybe some others, are still just a bit shaken up over the whole PK thing. I'm sure it will pass and we will get back to our regular antics.

You should move to DC. I didn't get one REAL offer in 6 months in Michigan. Moved to DC... got there Monday evening... had 6 interviews this week alone... and a bunch more scheduled for next week. The difference in job markets is shocking to say the least. Good luck sheep boy! I miss you!

PK is actually making a really wise move with this from a legal stance. He has to be damn sure of who the person is before saying anything, on the remote chance he has the wrong guy, then he'd be up on slander charges. He needs every morsel of detail and consult with a lawyer before saying anything here. He's handling this situation appropriately, at least based on what's here. From what I have read of his posts he's an extremely intelligent and compassionate person, he'll pull through, and I bet he's read all of these posts of support, whether or not he actively participates in the thread. Jen My thoughts exactly. Well said.

My scale is in storage right now from my move. But I'm pretty sure I've bumped off one or two of my goal of 10. So, I'm doin pretty stinkin good!
