Yep! I'm at a subsidy of TX A&M right now. A combination of bad weather, no $$ and a hurt knee has kept me on the ground for several weeks now. I've met numerous jumpers who are suffering through college and trying to scrape up jump $. I'm thankful that my parents help me with my jump $ under the condition that I don't drop out and actually try for descent grades. I asked that they help me get to Eloy and save for gear rather than buy me Christmas gifts.I guess I'm better off than some since my parents are so cool about my jumping. Heh! I just used half of my Pell grant refund check to buy an altimeter.The other half is getting saved for either A) my Eloy trip, or B) a helmet. "...just an earthbound misfit, I."

I've never taken the depo shot, but my sister had problems with it(but she's always been a bitch). I've been on the pill for 4 years now and I'm happy with it. You might suggest the pill or the new depo patch to your friend. Just my $.02.

I'm not sure if I have any quotes that I say alot when I'm drunk, but I do giggle, smile and flirt more when I'm drinking. I do tend to say things that can be misconstrued or have double meanings (usually translated into something perverted, etc etc) when I'm "in the bottle." P.S. I pray for myself and everyone on board to have a fun but safe time in which we all return to the ground happy and unharmed. I check my gear and go over the dive plan alot. Sometimes I'll just check out the scenery, listen to the songs playing through my head, and try to relax.

I listen to anything!I like a little bit of everything except Latino music. My Favorites Creed, Aerosmith, Disturbed, Linkin Park, Kid Rock, Eminem, Dave Matthews Band, Staind, Mad Season, Tom Petty, Toni Braxton, The Eagles, Pink Floyd, Bon Jovi, Metallica, Santana, Ozzy, etc etc. Buncha country that I dont feel like listing. I keep a full schedule trying to take care of my "babies" (1fish, 2 ferrets, 1 cat, 2dogs). We have more animals here at our place, but these are mine and I'm responsible for them. Between food, kitty/ferret litter, vet bills, etc. it gets hectic. Its all worth it though because I enjoy their companionship and love 'em.
