Jumped with Bobby Frierson, D-911 in late 70's. His 1st signature in my book was on 9-11-76. I remember that day so well!
I was returning from Hawaii and remember meeting Bobby at the Barnwell DZ. He explained the local rules, (in detail) checked my gear & log, then walked with me to his Black & White C-180. He said you have 183 jumps but I'll be monitoring #184. He did and... we were friends!
Bobby introduced me to many of the local residents (Woody, you are one I remember well). Great times in South Carolina.
