I did my first 2 S/L jumps from 3200 ft this November, havent done any tandems yet(but I think the freefall would be a blast). I'd been watching skydiving videos on youtube for months, thinkin "man, I wish I could do that!" and then one day it just hit me, "then do it, duh!" so I did, I took the FJC and had to wait three weeks to jump because of the wind. the next week, I rode the plane back down(I'd worked myself into a defeated mentality), but the next week I jumped again. Glad I did because the very next day and every day since, the weather has been total crap-I live in the midwest, so I may be outta luck till spring. Anyhoo, just thought I'd take a moment to say hello, looking forward to skydive talk(I need a fix every now and then since I'm grounded at the moment)
