    Awesome! Thanks for sharing, I will for sure try this out when the season starts for real here in Sweden. What kind of rendering speed do you get when using this, and on what computer? I'm wondering what kind of speed I can get from my old trusted rMBP.

    Hello! Im using the setup you're describing, though I'm using a Hero2. But it will work just as fine with a 3+. I experimented with using the original GoPro fixation but couldn't make it work in a nice way so I made my own from an aluminum plate. For mounting an SLR on the top I use an x-shut mount, it works fine. /Viktor
