    Alaska can be so amazing on good jump days, but thats only a 4-5 month window in the summer, and even then the winds tend to howl enough to stop jumping. Although it's the unique things that really lets you know your in Alaska, last year when a bear killed a moose in the landing area they had to shut down for the day. I am ALIVE!

    I saw this and thought, "This isn't intense at ALL, this is just jumpers landing in the street." Considering my whopping 2 tandems and 2 static lines the true Intense nature of your post wasn't apparent until others commented. 10 points to you sir! I am ALIVE!

    What really got me about the video was the way He sprung into action seconds after leaving the plane. I just haven't seen a jump with such purpose before, and yeah the full stadium going wild as he landed(crashed). I am ALIVE!

    You left out diving down lesson #1, always aim off to the side of the formation. Dive down, get on level with a stable, matched fall rate, then move horizontally into your slot. This way, if you 'over cook' your swoop, you can put 100% of your effort into stopping, and not have to worry about slowing down as well as sliding off to the side to avoid a collision. I feel enlightened. I am ALIVE!

    Im at Elemendorf and our Aero Club is going strong, considering this is Alaska it seems appropriate. However I hear that these clubs are dying out most everywhere else. It's a shame, but if the support from new students was steady would this really happen? I am ALIVE!
