  1. Is the new UPT building already staffed and fully oprerational (as in sewing rigs)? Yep. Production is up about 25% already...aiming for 50%. Bill - is the new building sewing military rigs, civilian, or both?
  2. DRD from SWS Rigs is avaible to order for sport rig "SWS Fire" Looks like it uses Collins Lanyard licensed from UPT, correct? http://www.swsrigs.com/ru/products/fire/features/drd/ English article: http://www.swsrigs.com/en/products/fire/features/drd/

  6. I wonder how the attached TearDrop and Zerox would handle this test...
  7. I noticed that some of the Sigma tandem drogue bridles used at Skydive Dubai are made from both old AND new type of bridle materials. Below are the examples. Any comments...?: https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/643893_295299907245717_1741273419_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/223769_298975153544859_1373964719_n.png https://fbcdn-sphotos-a-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/197541_296768600432181_1180979415_n.jpg
  8. I can see that you are a Jumpmaster and USPA coach... Here is the manual : http://miragesys.com/media/product/G4ContainerManual.pdf
  9. But you do have a manual with pictures, right?
  10. And you missed it doing gear/pin checks for so many months...?

  15. I would say yes the skyhook would be faster in almost all situations. Bag locks are an exception though as they could go either way. The beauty of the skyhook is that if the PC ends up being faster the skyhook is designed to seperate from the main and allow for a standard deployment. Yes, check the segment starting at 8:08: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-WBBLAgE_s

  17. Yes, the baglock may, or may not, stand you up. The freebag should come out easily in both orientations.
  18. I heard that this is a desirable scenario on rigs. Use some extraction friction, so that the two-out is avoided, and you just keep reserve PC-in-tow, while flying the main canopy. What is wrong with that (assuming that a slightly higher speed would deploy the reserve, like after the cutaway)?
  19. How about an RSL reserve deployment, after a bag-lock cutaway (which stood you up)?
  20. From JumpShack FB page: "Parachute Labs, Inc.: This was not staged. It was just a customer rig that came in for inspection & repack. Boxing of the upper portion of the reserve container, tuck tabs and riser covers encroaching over the side flaps all contributed to holding the reserve d-bag in."
  21. . On most rigs grommets are NOT supposed to line up.
  22. Like Norman Kent his Stiletto 150.
