Brian425, Brian425, Everything you say reminds me of Iran. Yeah it's a "free" country but....... Here I am paying a large sum of money to a highly respected university which specializes in developing executives who have a holistic view of management as well as their understanding of society and ecology as well as economics. And yet we may be going to a country which runs contrary to everything we are learning. It's a classic cost issue. NOTHING is cheaper than a trip to China. But who knows maybe I'll see a few of my old TA's from engineering school there. Who knows but given the choice....would be my last choice as a place for exploring management practices! As I stated earlier I'm not looking forward to this for various reasons some of which include human rights and the other is that they are a dictator ship. As a guy who's from Iran I find supporting such a system of government not hip. But what choice do we have. REALLY! Vacation? I was there when I was younger in the late 80's and I recall one thing. The sky was not blue and the food was crap! Now that I'm older and paying $60k for this EMBA I really really really don't want to go there. I told the professor in charge, "If we are going I'm going to bring every single Free Tibet shirt I have!" For me as a Persian I have strong feelings regarding basic human right as well as dictatorships. I was once flying to Finland with my X to see her family. We were flying BA, and it was dudes dudes and yes more dudes! It was much like the Village People. I thought it was a giggle especially when the x wife got into an argument with one regarding something or another.....the way he disarmed her.....I giggled all the way! But boy was she pissed! OK I've hit strip clubs in all but Australia, Asia and that melting pile of mud in the south. And sadly, I think for my EMBA class we are going to China.......I have my issues with China be it human rights to it being a dictator ship......but back on topic. Are there any strip clubs there? Been there done that.....NO! Those are even older birds due to the fact that I think they get paid more and get more hours! So they bump up the old ones on to trans oceanic flights! I think it's a US thing. Every time I fly with a US based carrier I get crap food, crap seats and oh my god is that Stew sucking on O2 just stay wake! It's f111....my instructor said no due to the leg and my lack of jumps. But I think I know someone with enough jumps to know how to properly fly an f111 and I have put them in touch. I have to say it was a nice idea, but only if it was ZP! A boy can dream right! if it were zp i would have jumped it even if it were HOT PINK

Well I saw it on the classifieds last night. Tried to get a hold of my rigger he wasn't there. So I made an offer hoping it was what would work for me. This morning I called my rigger and he said something about "no" and I said "well let's see what this guys rigger says" and my rigger said "ok, wouldn't hurt" So that's where we stand. My offer is still on the table and if it turns out it's not for me I'm sure another guy in my weight bracket will buy it. Mate just look at my jump numbers. How I live my life is this, I look at those with greater experience than I and who give a rats ass about me being alive and i go with what they say. Well Wendy, what gets me is that I can no longer read the articles people put up on the main page during lunch. I learned so much about how to fly by reading those articles. Be it setting up for a landing to how to deal with turbulance. I guess I'll give those guys a buzz and see what gives. Maybe they think searching for dates in the classifieds are not what an employee should be doing while at work.... Well I just spoke with my DZ's rigger. A person I highly respect and well he told me he would not recommend it.......So maybe the deal is off? I don't know. If it were ZP it would be great BUT my rigger was not happy at all that it was a Reflex container. And like I said, I have 100% trust in the guy and if he says he doesn't like it then I guess that's what I have to say as well. But god I wish some of you skinny SOB's would pack on a few pounds!
