you can also do a search for files created on such a such a date.... Or if you haven't been REALLY busy lately, the DOCUMENTS icon off the start menu lists your last 10 or so documents you opened autosave is an option only if you had forgotten to save a document and you now where it is, you MIGHT have a chance of getting the document with the recent changes. I think he might have been thinking of autorecover where if the app crashed on you in this instance since you already said you saved it. Go back in to the app (HINT don't click on a document, go to start, programs, app) and it will bring it back. And while in there and discover that the autorecover function didn't , look at the bottom of the file menu in the app. THAt will also have the last 3 or 4 docs you opened in that program. couldn't you pretty much cover anybody in the world within 6 degrees? Ya know if you think about this Say I know 100 (conservative estimate) people in my life time, who each know 100 people. So in basic terms it would be 100 to the 6th power So that would cover 1 trillion people. Current world population is about 6 billion give or take a few sheep...
