Thanks! i checked with my local dealers and it seems the CX105 is cheaper.. Not much but yea.. Im liking the 105 more and more! BTW: do you have any HD footage online shot with it?

Do you have the 105? What is its advantages besides from the larger internal memory and the fact that doesnt lack the threads for lenses.. I might change my mind. The reason i wanted the Tg3 was because of its size. But i guess the 105 isnt really that much bigger..

Yea! same here! ordered my Canon 500mm which is a pretty big package.. But it was at my door on the evening of day four! Really fast! Anyways! i left a message on their machine earlier and they just e-mailed me and claimed that they had a problem with their e-mail system. But that the helmet will ship tomorrow..

Well! i didn't exoect it to be here that soon. (alltough i have recieved orders from the US after 4 days in some cases) but at least one would think that it would pe possible to get hold of some shipping info.. I just called them but all i got was an answering machine..

Has anyone on here ever ordere from that site? I placed my order for a helmet like a week ago, it has not arrived, and i have sent them several e-mails asking for some info! After searching for the site on google i found that im not the only one who had problems with them. Some other guy didnt get his helmet at all!! What should i do? Call them? they are based in Michigan

Just thought i'd post this! Because i've seen quite a few youtbe skydiving videos which had the audio track removed due to the WMG copyright claim Here is a list of WMG artists, thought it would be nice to know before you do alot of post prod on a video with music syncing etc, just to have it muted on youtube! List of WMG artists I am perfectly aware of the fact that this is a list on Wikipedia and that it might not be spot on. If anyone can get a hold of an official list from Warner Music Group, please post it!

It took me 10 or so jumps to be able to be calm and laidback on the plane up. I was tensed up and and nervous up intil we went for the jump-run, seeing the others jump out reall helped! i wasnt nervous at all when i stood in the door.. Then all i could think was "Fuck yea"

Hoping to start filming jumps by July, so im working hard on a list of tracks i want to use! I have like 15k songs on my pc which i let winamp play on shuffle. whenever a good one comes along i just write it down! If anyone has some good suggestions for songs DO post them! i like all sorts of music, as long as it has some quality to it! I tend to get that error when it gets foggy and humid.. But only on my Oldest 1DMarkIIN which i bought back in 06' Thinking of buying a MarkIII to replace it. -
Update: Did all the measurements today and contacted Kurupee asking if they were taking orders. Also said i had heard both good and band about their customer service recently. Less than an hour later Ed had e-mailed me and was very helpful! My order is now placed and they were even willing to speed up the process so that the suit is here by season start! Wouldnt hesitate using kurupee again some other time if the service is the same! Thats another skeleton brother from another skeleton mother!

I've used Sony Vegas for years (for non skydiving related video) and its really well put together. Easy to learn and workflow is good! But i recently got the Adobe Master Collection CS4 which included the Premiere Pro CS4, and im currently getting to know it. its not a hard software to learn once you get the hang of the basics! Ill use it for sure when i start jumping camera this summer!

So what do you all do for a living? I know some of you are able to live off of jumping, but what about the rest of ya? Im a freelance photographer, currently working for Scanpix covering sports and news and whatnot. I started working for them in January, after a 4 year period on my local newspaper. And im really happy, knowing that this is a place i would like to stay for a while, having the opportunity to travel and see the world. Im really looking forward to this summer! being in a new job, and enjoying my first full season of skydiving! I feel really fortunate to be able to do two things that i really really enjoy! Im covering both the Extreme sports week and the World Base Race this summer! so if you are attending either of them, hit me up! But enough about me! what do YOU guys and gals do?
