New Years @ Caddo Mills or Skydive35?
beowulf replied to Bodhisattva420's topic in Events & Places to Jump
They are having an event at Skydive 35 on the 1st and 2nd. FreezeFest! I plan on being there. -
lol, I'm a Bears fan. So I always root against the Packers.
-
Mine just arrived. Papa Johns Large The Works, hope the Packers lose!

What is there to know?? There is no evidence of any spiritualism or supernatural. There is no evidence of any deity.
-
You can read whatever you want into that, but it doesn't mean anything.
-
Spirtuality is imagined. Just like the supernatural.
-
Good luck with that. I have read the bible. It's a nice collection of stories, but it's no more then that.
-
uhh ok ya got me there! I have no idea what you are trying to say. Your post makes no sense at all.
-
There is no evidence of any of this, so it is sad.
-
Intelligence is not bad. Intelligence uncovers the ways of God through science. But when that knowledge is trumped up and used as the basis for dismissing God, it becomes a major impediment. Spiritual growth is squelched by such pride. It's this kind of blind devotion to a mythology that is sad.

This is entirely your opinion. The definition of atheism is the disbelief in ANY deity. This couldn't be more opposite to what atheism is about.
-
Why did you think the topic was a question directed toward you?
-
A well thought out response. http://blogs.wsj.com/speakeasy/2010/12/19/a-holiday-message-from-ricky-gervais-why-im-an-atheist/

Now that's funny! Guess you need a ski lift to make it worthwhile!

PROskydiving Acquires DZ Tools

Pretty much all accounting systems or ERP packages use some sort of relational database like SQL, especially for multi client use. It would not make any sense in any way to get away from using an SQL server or any other relational database system. You belief in it needing to "run on its own merits" doesn't make any sense at all. It's better to use and established relational database system then attempt to recreate it. Also the whole reasoning for having a central database server is to allow more then one client to be running at the same time and using the same data. -
Could you provide more information about this 9 cell elliptical? Like who makes and what model. Eliptical canopies are not even considered for your skill level, but you might be talking about a Sabre 2 which is semi eliptical and at the right wing loading would be appropriate. Ignore the earlier sarcastic comment.

Right, but someone with 10,000 jumps and no tunnel time is going have a very difficult time back flying. Back flying in the sky isn't done very often. Even doing a big sitfly formation will be very difficult with out lots of tunnel time. It takes both, but the more tunnel the better you will be in the sky. At least that has been true for me. You're right 7000 jumps and proflyer would make a sitfly or back fly formation very likely to happen in only a few attempts maybe just one attempt.
-
I don't think it's so much a matter of jump number as it would be a matter of tunnel time. I could see someone participating with 1,000 jumps and a couple hundred hours of tunnel time.
-
I have been very fortunate and have never had to send a jumpsuit back for problems with fit. A big part of that has been getting the right person to do the measuring. I currently jump a Vertical suit and with out reservation I can say it's the best suit I have ever owned. Well built and solid, I expect it to last a long time.

So do Liquid eyewear. They have two versions of their Player and Gaskets. One that doesn't fold and one that does.

My first thought is National FOREST! Meaning trees! I don't know about you but finding a good landing area in a National Forest might be difficult. I don't like the idea of landing in a tree.
-
That's pretty much the same conclusion I came to. There are so many gods and even the Christian God is very different depending on who you talk to. I will have to look for that book.
-
Soooo your book is self affirming! Try looking up circular argument. You're not helping your cause.
-
Here is my rebuttal ... Wait for it ..... Bullshit!!!!!!! Now prove me wrong!
-
cause it fits!!!
