ok i had to go back 4 pages of PM's to find your's. If you have read my other posts I have informed folks that I was flooded with PM's since we posted dates.......give me a break, not a leg been there done that, and finger, both thumbs: one twice,...so looking for other kinds of breaks. good ones

Mike is correct about this. I started getting request of dates back in October, because they were required to request their dates in November. I was unable to determine everything as I would have liked, but a couple months longer lead time in the Events would be nice. Yes the other ways of getting the info out is available but one would agree its not as popular as the Events Forum. Yes we will run ads in the magazines, but the budget is very limited and there is no way to start those that early and still cover the few months prior to the event. Personally I believe 6 months lead time would be appropriate. I completely understand the reasons behind it, but IMO the 4 months is pretty much too late for the Europeans and others in the corporate world. One more note: The short notice could also be a diservice to the paid advertisers because they set their event schedule in January along with their budget. AND SkyDekker....that is one adourable child, great pic!!

LOL It is great to see folks evaluating the good that can happen and I believe will with the right attitude. Granny- that is what I love about skydiving, how it can build confidence and the ability to overcome. BTW where is Happythoughts, he has to have something to say in here... Its goooood!

Mine, well things really sucked in 2007, but I kept a smile on my face...still recovering from the aftermath but I believe things will improve. Have a lot to be excited about this year, working hard at the new business and extremely excited about SkyFest 2008! Of course that SF energy comes from all of you, so thank you. As much as I have moved on, certain things come up that still affect my life beyond my control. I grunt once then find a way to smile again. Thus making me stronger and wiser. Looking forward to tomorrow and the exciting challenges that may face me. I need to jump more (yes i can hear Lee now: Skrimmy get your ASS in the air) but that will come in time. Life gets in Life's way., and thats ok, cause skydiving has taught me to handle the risk and look forward to the next "jump" of life. Hope you all can find that bit of shimmering light that lets your wings fly again. Ok, off to get myself in trouble now. Shhh dont tell sunshine that I might be misbehaving... Hey Mouth. I know and I appreciate all of that. I wasnt complaining, just being silly, most of those are covered at this point. Just FYI I handle the MFRS myself due to my involvement with Sun Path and PD and the last 8 years of dealing with them. Im in the process of opening up the Up N Down Shop wich will be the Skydiving Division of Pony Printing out of dallas. He has been doing my SF shirts for 5 years and I hooked him up with PD then as well. Since then he has been bugging me to get more of the skydiving business, which we now do Wings, SkySystems, CPS, Magik, and a few others. We had the Dallas Cowboys and thought we might get to do Superbowl shirts, but the girls messed that up.

Let me work on that for you. James and I talked ablut that, I think he said the AP is an hour away, we are trying to get a shuttle for us. I will get that on the website soon. Will work on it and try to have an answer by the weekend. Will be great to see you!!
