  1. True or not, its a good story and very interesting.
  2. Any military riggers out there? There is a new parachute system out called the ARTAPS/ARTEPS? Not sure which one, but being a reservist, I'm having a hard time getting info on this. I've heard it is a bitch to pack and can't find a manual on it anywhere, to include FT. Lee. I would like to know what the rate of decent ect are compared to the T-10D or MC1-1D. Any links or help would be appreciated.
  3. I thought you meant the University of Tennessee. Hell, I don't know my way around anywhere, not even my own neighborhood.
  4. I've been avoiding this as well, but I will get and post a pic. I don't have any right now, HONEST.
  5. Umm.....I think I will stick with the Velveeta and chocolate milk. If the situation becomes that bad, then ok, I will try it, but for now, please pass the velveeta.
  6. Rosa, we need pics to determine if the sag factor will affect you later in life. Im voting "who cares?".
  7. Same with the shoe question, "Which shoes look better with this outfit?" If you say the ones she is holding, your WRONG because she didnt put those on and your going against her judgment. If you say the ones on her feet, your WRONG because your just saying that to hurry her up. Women are a no win situation, but I still love them.
  8. I think we need to sample this stuff, you know, I don't doubt the judges, but we've got to be sure. Congrats on the award.
  9. Where you guys at? Im down here in LaVergne.
  10. Ive used it for years, and never really had any adverse effects from it. Sewn patches look better and are better in my opinion, but Ive never really had a problem with the "lick'em stick'em" either. If it were going on my personel canopy, I would not use it, I would just go ahead and do a sew patch.
  11. Governor Coleman, can you explain your plan to avoid or deal with another energy crisis in the state of California? Whatcha talking about Willis? If the people of Florida were dealing with this, it would actually be funny and interesting to see the results.
  12. Zero. Got to the DZ and it was closed because everyone was at Rantoul. Next weekend will be a Zero as well, I have to work. .

    Life Choice

Do they deduct the 8 months you have been there from the two years? Just curious how that works there.

  16. You know your a skydiver when the UPS man can't believe that little box cost so much.
  17. With people getting rich off of this, maybe I should start something here. "Short Stories By My Cock".

    TV shows....

I like the history channel, TLC, Discovery, things like that. Lately Ive gotten into the home garden thing. I cant tell one tree or bush from another, but I'm learning. It's cool to see the makeovers they do to these houses and the design and decorating. Pretty cool stuff.
  19. I agree. Its sad to see things like this go. Yes technology continues and things change, but still sad. If old airplanes could talk, think of the stories you would hear.
  20. That is awsome! I would gladly pay that for that ride. It's not all about the actual "jump". How you get there is a big part of it too. While not a big deal to others, I finally got to jump a Beech 18 last weekend (for the low low price of $19 U.S.) and I loved it!. Been flipping through my logbook and reading that entry for the past few days. Can never take away the memories made.
  21. Wasnt Cheryl Stern trying to break the sound barrier or Kittenger's altitude record? or both? My memory isn't worth a damn but I think I read something about this.
  22. TSA, "Thousands Standing Around". They have to have something to do and when they have neat things like parachute rigs come through, to hell with saftey or understanding or just plain common courtesy of other peoples property, whip out some wire cutters and see whats inside.

    Home Again

Well, I'm home now from deployment. Kind of a disappointment not going overseas, but thats the way things happen. I made alot of good friends and jumps in Indiana. (Camp Atterbury/ Franklin IN). To all at Jerry's Skydiving Circus, thank you. My thoughts are with those that are overseas and hope they all come home soon.
