It takes some skill. And some effort. And a typical American lack of understanding what "Strong" coffee is. Yes, I know Gowlerk is Canadian. As a side note, I usually found coffee up in Canada to be superior to what I got in the US. Not sure why (could be water quality), but "Timmy's" coffee 'up nort' is better than down here.

Post trump Legal Actions, Including his Enablers
wolfriverjoe replied to Phil1111's topic in Speakers Corner
Hi Jerry, The problem is that there are a LOT of people who will vote for both of them. Knowing full well what they did and who they are. Saw something after Trump's "town hall" that was something along the lines of: The reason Trump supporters are so loyal, despite his actions is because he acts THE EXACT WAY THEY WANT TO ACT. And gets away with it. He lets them show who they REALLY are, Of course, 'who they really are' is scumsucking racist pieces of shit. -

The judge warned the jury to keep a low profile. 'Cuz the Trumpettes are rather vicious and vindictive thugs. Heather Cox Richardson on May 9th. https://www.facebook.com/heathercoxrichardson -

Charges have been filed, but the indictment is still sealed. Court appearance later today. Of course, the Rs are NOT calling for him to resign. -
Seymour Hersh: How America Took Out The Nord Stream Pipeline

Are you really expecting logic & reason from someone who thinks the 'Q drops' were real? -
Gotta wonder how long it's going to take for the 'troll farms' to start using AI.
-
The idea that they were hiding their racism was true until Obama was elected. Since then, those types have crawled out from under their rocks and become much more visible. Trump's success was pretty much founded on it.
-
Whoopsie. Just a little bit too low.

He's not an idiot. He has some fairly indefensible positions, but, if nothing else, his spelling and grammar are usually correct. It's pretty clear who and what he is. A true idiot wouldn't be in that role. We've had some pretty stupid people posting on here. He's not in that class.

Ummm.... Bullshit. Look at average income by race. Look at home ownership by race. Look at lifespan by race (or a LOT of other measures of health & health care). Look at incarceration by race. I know a lot of 'old white guys' who claim, like you, that 'there's no such thing as white privilege', that 'they had to work for everything they have'. While I won't dispute that they worked, and worked hard, to earn what they have, they blatantly ignore the reality that people with different skin colors have to work a LOT harder to attain the same successes, and for some, no matter how hard they work, those successes are out of reach. That basic premise is the genesis of CRT. People saw the different levels of success for different races. They saw things like the Voting Rights Act, the Civil Rights Act, all of the anti-discrimination laws on the books and asked why discrimination is still so prevalent. So they looked. Long, hard and deep. And found that racism has basically been 'built in' to much of our society. It's not always easy to spot. It's not 'white only' signs on bathrooms, water fountains or anything else. But it's very real.
-
Got a source for that? How is the bolded part "pure bullshit"? That is the core of CRT. The 'built in racism' is something that is both true and well hidden. It's not racist to recognize how pervasive and embedded the racism in our society is. It's 'woke'.

Soooo.. Let me get this straight. You're bragging that the Russians are committing war crimes? Really? And the idea that Ukrainians would use civilians as 'human shields' is probably the silliest thing you've posted (and that's saying something). The Ukrainians could easily have left Bakhmut at any time. They've had solid supply routes into the city for all that they need to slaughter the orcs, they could have left any time they chose. And the idea that the Russians wouldn't attack Ukrainian soldiers if they had 'human shields' is totally ridiculous. The Russians are DELIBERATELY targeting civilians. The orcs have tortured and murdered THOUSANDS of Ukrainian civilians. When they invaded, they has LISTS of civilians to target. Now, if you had said that it was the orcs who were holding civilians to use as human shields, that I might believe. Chickenshit behavior like that is expected from them.

Please define "Critical Race Theory". Since you 'think it's bullshit', then you know what it is, right? Or do you just think things are bullshit because you don't really know what they are and don't like what other people tell you to think about them?
-
And with that post, you clearly define who and what you are.
-
Doesn't NEED to send in ground troops? Ha. Try 'don't have any left to.' Don't NEED Wagner for the 'mop up'? Ha again. Try "Wagner is running away from the mop up". Prigzohin has said he's going to quit fighting in Bakhmut in a couple more days, because Russia won't give him what he wants. Mostly because Russia is just about out of everything and won't be able to sustain the war for much longer. The fact that they're trying to get artillery shells from Myanmar and North Korea is pretty telling. And you're absolutely right that war mongering is evil. Putler should simply pack up and go home. That would end the evil in Ukraine. The Ukrainians have decided they won't capitulate to evil. They'd rather fight and die than be subjugated and exterminated by Vladolf (which is something he's explicitly stated).
-
I was thinking similar things. But Rust flew a 172, not a drone. I think landing a manned aircraft there, in today's political environment would be a REALLY bad idea. Putler is just about out of patience. And humor.
-
Yup. However, 'Victory Day' parades are being cancelled all over Russia. Various reasons are being suggested. No tanks or troops to be in the parade. The "Immortality Regiments" are so much bigger with the casualties in Ukraine approaching 200k. For the Russian public to see how many new recruits are "immortalized' would not be good. Officially it's 'security concerns' that are stopping the parades. And that may (amazingly) be at least some of the truth. There's a contest set for May 9th. One of the co-founders of a Ukrainian online bank is offering a prize of around $540k (USD) to the first person to land a drone on Red Square on "Victory Day". https://news.yahoo.com/founder-fintech-company-ukraine-offering-161302067.html?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbS8&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAM6T5dKrjUIfGYzJQa5fOGzN-mwx42sN4hrOcg7SZleUs0eU2r499A9Rwk_iQ4yci9OUJkfZndyHqMRP-70aq5YSQMUJvIL3T7mrgZ8gBpoqHBKJkRYHlHvmPOAUfxEUynsxvamm2EFymjXGUKR1Ds4AQi_Ld2M-Zrguh5gQlq1z That would be absolutely hilarious.

Well, I was using Slim's analogy and referring to the T-54 tanks being brought to Ukraine. And the reality that the only ones who know how to fix those ancient tanks are likely retired tankers, who are in their 70s. Which is a pretty big problem, because the life expectancy of the average Russian male is well under 70. So most of them are dead. And, in the "good news" department: Heather Cox Richardson's May 5th post https://www.facebook.com/heathercoxrichardson It sounds more and more like Bakhmut ISN'T going to fall to those 'vicious cutthroats' anytime soon. Because they're going to run away due to being fucked by Vladolf.

Seymour Hersh: How America Took Out The Nord Stream Pipeline
wolfriverjoe replied to ryoder's topic in Speakers Corner
That's very true, which is why all the trolls are trying to convince the world it was the US, and they're having a certain amount of success. But when you look at it objectively, and ask 'who would have the most to gain from this?' and then look at outside reports on activity around the area in the time around the explosion, and look at who has the capability to do this sort of thing, and then look at who is creating all the propaganda making accusations... The answer becomes a bit more apparent. -
You also don't pull seventy year old players out of retirement because all the first string has either been blown up or captured (mainly after being abandoned).
-
Well, they are the 'most vicious band of cutthroats'. You know, thugs and gangsters. Who are, of course, no match for actual soldiers.
-
Ok, thank you. Reading it again, I can see that.
-
From the article: Ummmm... How does one 'imperil' a reputation that went down the toilet a while back?
-
Would you care to link some of those articles? You didn't in the post you made, although I kind of guessed you didn't write that wall of text yourself. Also, your post clearly implied this was "Biden's doing". I haven't seen that anywhere reliable.

Hi Jerry, There are deluded fools that want him as 'king'. Or "President for Life", with his kids assuming office after he dies. No, I'm not kidding. I wish I was. Fortunately, they are a rather small minority.
