I said, “Sure, I can call you every morning and scream: WHERE ARE YOU???” He laughed… Later I realized, it would be so much easier if I could just roll over and nudge him to go to the gym with me. Maybe I’ll suggest that to him tomorrow." THAT is funny!! Sense of humor is good!! Always be kinder than you feel.

You get to close up your house, lawn gets cut and watered, mail forwarded, nothing could go wrong at home so there's no excuse to keep you there all summer. You've been given May-September off from your job (paid vacation), so you can't use work as an excuse. All you have to do is pick a town and find a great place to live like a local for a while. A friend who loves books posted a thing on FB that she would be far more likely to respond to a guy in a bookstore offering to buy her a book than a guy in a bar offering to buy a drink. Hmmm. I may have to try that. And maybe the guy in the video is just looking for a girl as shallow as he is. People hang out in bookstores to try to hook up. The Fairless Hills, PA Barnes & Noble at lunch hour is a riot. I've never had a guy offer to buy me a book but I know I'd politely decline. My place is 21 square meters. (226 square feet, according to google conversion) It's certainly not the smallest place in the world, but it's not exactly big either. That would be perfect to me. Maybe you're right, there's underlying things that could've popped up sooner rather than later and would've cost you an arm and a leg to rectify. When I was married, we went to look at what I thought was an amazingly perfect house (Jack & Jill bathrooms and closets ) in an amazingly perfect neighborhood (on Karen Court, I took that as a HUGE sign that house was to be MINE! My name, my job.) in what I deemed as the perfect place to raise kids. I was heartbroken when someone else moved faster than my exHusband would with the realtor. Someone else came in with an offer before we got one together and we lost out. Wouldn't you know, we found out the basement used to flood at the smallest rain. I think a bullet was dodged. There's got to be another place that's waiting for you. Maybe it isn't on the market just yet. It'll come. Chin up, pretty!!
