    I got a ride in my brother's best friend's 300L back in the late 90's. Even got to fly the stick over Monterey Bay between 4000-6000MSL doing all kinds of fun shit. BEST TIME EVER.     I was raised with a very healthy dose of respect for adults, teachers, priests/nuns, authority figures, others, property, etc. I wasn't spanked but my mom did slap me once when I was a teenager. My brothers were spanked when all else failed. I found it funny. Billy, the smoking with kids in the car thing is a huge pet peeve. I was in Old Navy the other day and this little girl (about 3-4 years old) smelled of cigarette smoke SO BAD I wanted to puke. Then when the grandmother walked over the cig smoke stench coming off her almost made me pass out. Horrible. They came out and got in the car parked next to me with boxes and boxes of empty cigarettes strewn about the dashboard. Classy. Hoarders on wheels. Always be kinder than you feel.
