***Wow. Not sure how you resisted that one... I know, right? Well, it was REALLY hard to resist the 70+ year old gentlemen who asked me if I wanted to be his girlfriend when I come to Florida or he goes up to Atlantic City. I could stay on his "boat" (80' yacht) on the Intracoastal and he'll fly me down every weekend so I can shop, go to dinner, gamble and be his good luck charm in the casino. Or he'd take me to the Bahamas, wherever I'd like to go. But he can go all night at his age (so he says) because he takes Viagra. Woohoo. What a catch. Oh, my. You really need to jetison that parfum you've been wearing. What is it? Eau du Desperation? lol It's not you. Pretty sure many women can recite the same tales. If you are friendly (even in a setting where it is just part of your job) you must be really turned on by the guy, right? I know, right? I carry a 6' 3 outlet extension cord with me when I travel. I only use it for my cell phone charging but used it myself and shared it in the airport. I saw a couple of people like you mentioned. One lady stood there talking about her tour through Italy (very loudly) and another foreign couple stood there and were uploading pics from their phones. The woman who needed to charge her phone was stuck from cancelled flights to Phoenix and just needed phone juice to call airlines, relatives, etc. to make travel arrangements. They wouldn't give up any space. People are such assholes. In the attached pic you can see the little jerk who pulled the iPhones off the charging stations. He's dragging an iPhone charger in the pic. I missed getting the pic when he was swinging it around like a lasso and hit his sister. Always be kinder than you feel.
