http://news.ca.msn.com/world/cbc-article.aspx?cp-documentid=23830379 Carlsberg employees decry limits on beer at work Scores of Carlsberg employees walked off the job Thursday after the Danish brewer tightened rules on workplace drinking. Scores of Carlsberg workers walked off the job in protest Thursday after the Danish brewer tightened laid-back rules on workplace drinking and removed beer coolers from work sites, a company spokesman said. The warehouse and production workers in Denmark are rebelling against the company's new alcohol policy, which allows them to drink beer only during lunch hours in the canteen. Previously, they could help themselves to beer throughout the day, from coolers placed around the work sites. The only restriction was "that you could not be drunk at work. It was up to each and everyone to be responsible," company spokesman Jens Bekke said. Carlsberg had mulled a stricter drinking policy for years and finally decided to impose the new rules on April 1, prompting protests from staff. Bekke said around 800 workers went on strike Wednesday and around 250 walked off their jobs Thursday, resulting in interruptions to beer transports in and around Copenhagen. Carlsberg's truck drivers joined the strike in sympathy — even though they are exempt from the new rules, Bekke said. The truck drivers are permitted to bring three beers from the canteen because they often don't have time to have lunch there. The trucks have alcohol ignition locks preventing drivers from driving drunk, he added. Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)

Cool Rob, Thanks! I would go to the one at pitt in a few weeks but my C1 course is the same weekend so I can't make it Pretty excited to get my C1 though, its going to be a great year of learning and jumping and sharing my love for the sport with others! Hopefully I can make it to the next meet they have at pitt later this summer

I'm getting into classic accuracy this season. Currently building a rig. I'm having a hard time finding any resources though, after searching the forums most of the links provided are no longer working. I don't know any local accuracy jumpers and would love to go to some meets. Any resources you could provide would be awesome! Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)

Trig has definitly been one of the more useful things I've remembered from school. I use it in the field pretty often at work. It's even better when some one has a trig app on their phone. Don't even have to remember how to do it. You just punch in the info you have and you get your answer. Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)

Cool, thanks Pete. I was hoping to get down to Pitt at the end of the month for a meet but my C1 course is that weekend. I don't know many people at all in alberta that are still doing classic accuracy. It would be nice to go to a meet before provincials. Might get back to ontario sometime this summer, I know a few people there. I'll post some pics of my risers and the brake lines once the canopy gets here and see what options there are. Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
-
No I dont believe it has a brake setting eye. I am familiar with the idea of daisy chaining the brake line. My question was more about the toggles themselves. This canopy doesn't have toggles and I have heard there are different set-ups for the foil like hard toggles or something. Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
-
I think the 22' distance would be ideal to set up for the first time. As the line gets longer it has alot more play. If you look at some of the videos you will see guys "surfing" the line. thats where the line will sway back and forth. This is alot of fun to do once your able to actually able to walk to line. Anyone familiar with the tubular webbing brake lines on a parafoil? I just bought one and I'm not familiar with this set up. It doesn't have any toggles and I'm trying to find out what would be used with this set-up. Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)

I'm helping a buddy do a bunch of cross promotional stuff and market research. I don't usually do anything like this but I'm unemployed and bored. Its mostly glassware, bongs, pipes that kinda stuff. He also dose alot of glass art but that stuff doesn't sell very well. He's asked me to get involved because he wants to start using ornamental metalwork with the glassware. We're coming up with some pretty cool ideas and designs. So anyway I've got a bunch of stuff to give away and I really don't have that many friends that are into this kinda thing. If your interested shoot me a message and I'll see what I have for ya. I should have some pics to post next week and hopefully a website soon.
