I will Never forget the chat I had with Paul about diving a few days before. He was very helpful and knowledgable in answering all the questions that I had. It was an awesome site to watch him come in for his landings! I will never forget watching him. He will be greatly missed! Blue Skies Paul! B

I am so glad that I am not the only one who is having a lot of issues with allergies right now!. Mine have gotten so bad that I had an eardrum rupture because of the congestion! Now I am gonna have to wait until the ENT/Allergist figure out what I am allergic to so I can get cleared up enough to be able to do my classes!! The congestion hurts too bad!! My question is...will the shots really help that much? I hope they do! I will find out on the 28th what road I am headed down. I am hoping the doc tells me I can go on and jump!

Been there too! Being red-headed and fair skinned I have had my fair share of nasty sunburns... After many years of tanning beds and the sun I have learned the hard way to put sunscreen on. It is scary as hell to wait for the path reports to come back from the dermatologist office Only to find out that you have skin cancer, then they gotta take more.... If don't use sunscreen next time, when you get burnt again, take advil or tylenol and slap the aloe gel to it ASAP, and keep putting it on.(keep the gel in the fridge). it's cold but feels good!

First of all BEST OF LUCK! I am right there with you... I have been taking the Chantix for a month now and the cravings are just not there anymore. As the others have said I heard about the dreams (which a friend of mine had) and all that but I personally have had no ill side effects. Most of the time I don't even eat when I take it... who knows, it affects different people in different ways. I have tried using Wellbutrin....ummmm not a good thing for me.... But this time I think it is gonna work using the Chantix. Just so you all know there is a program that the Manufacturer has out there! (if you don't have medical insurance to help pay for the rx) Pfizer may help!

I know I saw it on their website! I am sooo looking forward to it! When I found out I was ready to go then but I am going to try to come either this coming weekend or the following!! The anticipation is killing me!

I have 1 she is 9 and after she watched my videos and looked at my pics, she really wants to go with me sometime! I know she is too young but she can go and watch me and my SO!!!!

I so have to agree with granny! I have also been trying to loose weight so I can persue my dreams and goals! I have about 15 to go and I know if I can do it then so can you!! Best of luck to you!!!

Thank you! During my second tandem my instructor (also DZO) commented on how well I did! I have watched my video with my SO and we agree that I do look really relaxed, which I was... we are sure that I will be fine during my training, just can't wait to get started. And TRUST me I will ask plenty of questions. I spent most of the day at the DZ and was asking all kinds of questions already...after my second jump!! I want to learn all that I can....

Hey there all! I just thought that I would finally introduce myself. I am from Kentucky and have done two tandems thus far, thanks to my b/f he got me hooked and now I can't wait to get started on my classes!! Everyone I know thinks that my skydiving is either awesome (which it is!!) or that I have lost a few marbles! Anyway, I have been reading on here a lot and have learned so much already! So any advice that anyone can give a newbie would be welcome!

It has to be the best experience there is!! My S.O. took me for my first tandem and now I am hooked and can't wait to start my classes, when the weather warms up...

WOW! All I can say is that for this to have been my first time ever.Everyone made me feel very relaxed and comfortable! I felt like I have known these guys for years! I will most definetly be back for more jumps! Again another big thanks to Jim, Dan and Larry (who is a great instructor)!! See ya soon guys!
