  1. very friendly group of people... extremely relaxed atmosphere at this DZ... 1 hangar + 1 cessna + 1 round table with chairs. Thirdly.. The freefalling sensation at first dissapointed me, completely different then I thought... then as I relaxed a bit I slowly realised it was better then expected. Something that since yesterday I'm really missing and wishing I out there right now Yeah, since starting AFF last month i have noticed the people are really friendly and really small places are very tight. Sweet as hopefully if you come accross the pond then you can jump at our place.......
  2. 6 down 4 to go.................... the weather is crap here this weekend..boo But hopefully get finished off in the next 2 weeks!!!
  3. Welcome to skydiving. Too bad you already bought the Solo...you really should be training your eyes with an analog altimeter at this point. I'd hate to see you develop "audible dependence". I wont be getting that as i just bought in a bundle to save postage!! so i wont be using it as my JM said thats why i wear a Cypres and thats the reason he is there and i bought the wrist alti because the instructors one doesnt have all the increments on it!!! But yeah i get the Idea......cheers for your input....
  4. I understand and respect that "LAW" but i was purchasing some bits for myself(goggles, alti, helmet etc) and was told by the place i should be using an audible alti by law as a student! i just wanted to see if they were pulling me in so i would buy one??? (even though i bought a SOLO yesterday lol!) Cheers for the help guys,
  5. Oh can anyone tell me is it law (as such) to use an audible altimeter when being a student??
  6. Woohoo Level 3 and 4 passed today 5,6,7 tomorrow!!!!
  7. Sorry.... It means abit wet, girly and just doesnt command respect.............. but he is young he could turn out like his father.......
  8. Guys its different in the UK im ex military (11 years) 1.if he was in uniform headress on he would salute 2. No headress he would brace up or bow(not salute) and acknowledge the presence of him 3.If both in civvies then a bow and calling him sir blah blah blah to be honest hes quite camp so i wouldnt bother even acknowledging him anyway.............
