    And I wonder about the kids that were watching TV and going to movies while I was cleaning looms all night in a cotton mill. during high school, and the ones who rode daddy's checkbook through college while I was slinging hash in a Huddle House to pay for tech school. I wonder about the people that hit the door at quitting time saying my job is done while I was asking what else can I do. Mostly I wonder about the people that try to throw a generalization on me without having a goddamn clue what I've done to get out of the trailer park and away from the government cheese. I have no fucking sympathy for the people that sit on their ass blaming everything but the fucking dog next door about not having a chance or an opportunity or a break when the truth is that you go make your own.     Reading the comments from the people that were there-but that's off subject. Spence, I think the difference between that festival and the boogie is that the festival generates fees for the city and the boogie put money in the hands of local businesses-unfortunately, the city/county fathers call the shots.     I'll try to type slower so you can keep up but I did answer the question-I just also observed that it wasn't a particularly valid analogy other than it was another bit of legalese that did no real good. Not to wander too far from the subject, which is this cluster fuck of a bill that will be revealing it's hidden costs for years to come-I didn't/don't really agree with the way the recent conflicts have been managed. I'm all for less World Savior and more Raw Imperialism. Use the resources of conquered territories to offset expenses. Thanks for your time and you now have my permission to go back to your fantasy world where you can lay all of your difficulties at the clay feet of your leaders and sleep peacefully nestled in the warmth of no personal accountability.     I don't know anyone in the US that doesn't have access to health care-I personally have health insurance partially subsidized by my employer as part of my compensation package. I support health care reform, but not this flavor. You are only as strong as the prey you devour

    At least that one, while it didn't do what most think it did, didn't mortgage the future. And it would have probably had a majority in what was then the USA albeit not a huge one.     I think that my "healthcare" cost may drop, but not as much as my usable income does. It will be sort of like dropping road taxes by $50 a year but making the roads tollroads that it now costs me $200 a year to travel. But the taxes dropped. You are only as strong as the prey you devour
