I have 75 jumps and still have a little bit if the door demon there. Mine comes mostly from performance anxiety. I do mostly group skydives and Im scared that I will screw up the jump for everyone else (particularly the exit).

I love them with some lemon and one drop of tabasco. MMMMMmmmm

...or DID they? (eerie music)

Dont skydive and scuba in the same day.

Hey all you Elsinore locals.....
Stuntbabex replied to peanutgallery's topic in Events & Places to Jump
I wouldnt worry. Like someone said, Mel is really good at taking care of people there but she isnt the only one either. Theres tons of helpful people at that dz. Youre going to love it there. -
I agree. I found that it didnt so much take the pain away as much as it just doped me up and made me not mind it as much. When i had shoulder surgery it was the best thing I had though so I took it anyways. After only 3 days I stopped taking it cold turkey and the withdrawls were terrible. Screw that stuff!

My first AFF skydive this Saturday.
Stuntbabex replied to npgraphicdesign's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Dont eat hot wings the night before starting AFF. I had to learn that one the hard way. -
I think Id have more fun jumping out of the regular hot air balloon. Maybe thats just me.
-
landing was my biggest concern before doing my AFF1 jump. The instructors will tell you all about the landing patterns, wind, etc but if you feel you arent ready or you need more instruction, let them know!! Dont be afraid to ask lots of questions, even if you think they may be dumb ones.

What the hell is an indoor skydiving simulator ride? Do they mean wind tunnel?

Would any experienced sky diver mind...

Depends on how hot it is. I think some people go naked. -
I think the big difference between a dog tandem vs a cat or a chicken is the fact that dogs generally love the wind in their face, so I can imagine a dog actually liking it for that purpose. I know cats hate that so they wouldnt be too happy and I dunno anything about how stupid or smart a chicken is, so Im not even gonna try to guess that one.

He might be doing it for other reasons, like hypertrophy. But either way, I dont agree with mixing the two. Its asking for trouble.

When I was working on my packing technique I offered to pack for one of my friends for free just so I could get some practice (since I didnt have my own gear). That way I had gear to practice on and a friend to make sure I was doing it right.

How far do you drive to the DZ each weekend??
Stuntbabex replied to partyboy's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
15 min from Elsinore, 30 min from Perris. -
That music is so relaxing.

Ok, this sounds silly but...
Stuntbabex replied to spindlee's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Like others have mentioned, I never noticed any tension between skydivers and base jumpers... it kinda doesnt make sense either since most basejumpers are also skydivers. I myself have gotten into skydiving with every intention of picking up base. Did I do it just because of base? no, cause skydiving is a lot of fun too! Im taking my time and enjoying it before moving onto a sport where the fatality rate is even higher. Im gonna make sure Im really ready! Best of luck in your pursuits. -
Maybe he was just punishing the cat for pissing in his canopy?

Are you body building? Thats quite a mix of drugs and supplements you got there. It may work for what youre doing here on the ground, but up in the air it could have a completely different effect. I dont know how many jumps you have or if you have even skydived at all but Ill just tell you that personally I wouldnt be mixing the two. Skydiving is already a pretty risky sport without adding unnecessary drugs to the mix. You might want to look at your health before looking into if its legal or not. If I were you, Id run it by a doctor before doing any(more) jumps.
