    Spider

Yes, I've run through several spider webs (no idea what kind) on our runs in the morning. I love spiders--but web on your face is incredibly annoying. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  2. Are they still planning on canceling it??? I really, really hope not. I'm SO into it now. I'm glad I stuck with it after the first three episodes. Studio 60 has actually become my favorite show currently. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

    Spider

Cool beans. Unfortunately, I'm afraid Spike will have to be relocated. He is not in a very good spot being that his web (which is quite large for such a small spider) stretches just so that it blocks a side gateway entrance to our yard--which is an entrance/exit I and Billy use quite often. Don't worry. I'm no killer. I'm sure Spike will find the new place I have chosen for him a Spider paradise. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

    Spider

Look what I discovered today on our side porch? It's a spiny orb weaver. This is just a quick shot I took. The way the web is, and the ocean wind is blowing crazy, I was afraid to get under him. I read their bites are not known to cause serious damage to humans--does anyone know about animals? I worry for my furry babies that like to sun in a spot just under the new web. Florida?

OK, I'm a Gator so... Hoooo-ray!!! But truth be told I think the whole college system sucks. It wouldn't have really been fair to either team not to go. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  6. Wendy, are you looking for anything in particular? (I.e. exit pics, from above, from below w/ instuctor in pic, w/out, face pic, etc.) Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  7. Definitely. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  8. No, definitely true. But, I understand what point you are trying to make--I just didn't want those who aren't too familiar with the topic to assume, by your comments, all outsourcing was the "external" kind.
  9. Not all outsourcing involves jobs and/or people outside of the country. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  10. Outsourcing is fantastic--just not for call centers, imo.
  11. Halloween boogie? Excellent. Christmas? Not so much. I never did understand the homes that are stictly purple, or blue, and white. Ehuck. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  12. All or mostly white (clear). We shine a green light onto our big wreath we buy each year and hang on the house. Too often colored lights look tacky. But, so is Santa's suit so...'tis the season. P.S. Non-blinking.
  13. Andrea--I'm not a big fan of dresses, myself. It takes a formal occassion for me to wear one, usually. Pants are perfectly fine. I wouldn't wear jeans if it's evening--but that's not to say I haven't worn jeans to plenty of places with a strict dress code and was still allowed in. I love my jeans. Sometimes I go with what I feel like rather than whatever the establishment desires. Black is always great. If you want to go dressier, I swear by cream pants. They're usually my first choice for just about every non-jeans occassion.
  14. I know where he is. I'm almost ready to go there again myself. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

    "My Boys"

Excellent! But, I thought we were going to play? Lindercles said I could use his stick. Stitch is looking for a good puck. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

B/c I said "sweaty". Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

No scrapping--kitty is on my list.

    "My Boys"

I like to read it after a long, sweaty day of operating pavement breakers. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

    "My Boys"

Oooooohhh. I haven't seen the show. In fact, I haven't even heard of it other than an ad in an US Weekly I bought the other day. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

    "My Boys"

Yowza--maybe we should start a thread on what "girly" means to everyone. I'd definitely consider myself girly--except not by your definition. I do like a great pair of jeans and awesome shoes, though. But seriously, I'd much rather go to a hockey game, too--I'll just be sure to do so wearing my awesome jeans. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  21. I must be nuts--my thinking about the whole #s thing would be the opposite: I.e. I'd think it cooler to have 1,000 jumps and doing all sorts of mad tricks in the air and under canopy and then say, "Eh, I only have 200 jumps. I'm just a natural." Seriously, though. I would think if I told someone (or fudged my log book to show such) I had 3,000 jumps, and then they jumped with me, when I actually only have 1,500 it would show and I'd look pretty silly. Is it just me? I don't get the whole fudging thing just for #s sake. It makes sense if one fudged to meet a rating or something (and not that I agree with doing that), but just for the sake of saying you have more jumps than you do??? That's just silly, imo. If one really wants #s for #s sake, then just go do a bunch of hop-n-pops. They're less expensive, you can do more in a day, and you get great canopy practice. And if you care about the grand #--you get that, too. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  22. You're nuts. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  23. Yes, that's probably true of me. I think in print (i.e. posting in forums) I can most definitely come across harsh. In person, my tone is almost always very playful so I'm not often taken harshly. I tend to say and do as I feel, but I'm typically still very respectful of others. I can't help it. I actually care. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
