  1. Thanks I've managed to fix this issue. Watched threads should now display as they are intended to on the page.
  2. I've 'watched' this thread now, can you please just respond to this post with anything, so I can try and investigate where the issue may be. I'll then get back to you with what I find.
  3. Don't know if I'd call it a 'big storm' yet ;) Forecast maximum winds at this time for the outlook period is 45mph, though to be honest I think that's too conservative. Even though shear and dry air may keep strengthening down, I think 60mph could be seen out of it. And so begins another season of intense hurricane tracking...
  4. Hi, This happens when the poster doesn't use the correct code format. In this case the list items [.li] were not precluded by the needed [.ul] - This can serve as a reminder to users that all list items must be done in the following format. [.ul] [.li]text[./li] [./ul]
  5. Thanks for alerting us to this. I've run through the files and noted a single misplaced character that was causing this. I've fixed the issue and it should be back to normal.
  6. The following scam has been reported: Click here to read more about these kind of scams. Remember: DO NOT do business with anyone who offers to send you payment for a higher amount than your selling price with the understanding that you'll send back the balance. Be suspicious of anyone claiming to be acting on behalf of a "client" or another "customer". Be suspicious of anyone claiming to be from Nigeria or West Africa If you agree to accept a check payment, then do not send anything, gear or "change" before the check cleared. And be careful, if you manage to clear a fraudulent check then you may be liable for the damages if the bank finds out later. Make sure your bank authenticates the check. If it sounds to good to be true, then it probably is.This username has been disabled.

  8. Nope, you are correct. It is the result of an overly persistent internet troll.
  9. Reed Timmer, runs tornadovideos.net. He has been in the storm chasing world a long time, but definitely has an over inflated ego and generally annoying characteristics. I enjoyed the first seasons of Storm Chasers the best, back when it had small viewer numbers and was actually just chase videos as opposed to scripted drama based around chasing. I was once contacted to host a local version of a storm chasing show due to the fact that I started South Africa's first storm chasing website - and it was quite annoying to see the things that they want to emphasize when creating these 'documentaries'. I've always been a fan of Sean Casey though, he annoys a lot - but seems more humble than the ego-chasers. He was the one who got the EF-4 footage last week.
  10. Ah yes, as it stands - the base section on dropzone.com is disabled to all users. Whether or not this is the best approach, may be argued - but it's been like that for a long time. It's something that can be discussed, but I suspect Sangiro implemented it for a reason.
  11. Hi, The link you gave above works fine for me, so I'm assuming it's likely as it states, a permissions issue. Like dropzone.com, a lot of basejumper.com's forum sections are closed to guests, and requires you to log in to view. So if you don't have an account on basejumper.com yet, you'll need to register one and then log in to view those forum threads.

    Xbox live anyone

A bump of epic proportions... But as relevant. I too was looking for a few new gamertags (aka users) to add to xbox live, I don't spend too much time behind the TV/Console, but it does help to have a few 'friends' for games like Forza. Gamertag: mesoxxx
  13. Hey, I've just been busy working on some functionality, which is likely what caused this... Can you confirm that it's gone now?
  14. I had a look into this and it should be fixed now, let me know if you have any other problems.
  15. I don't know how many of you have played this game, but it's great fun. Basically you are given a google street view shot from a random location in the world, and you guess which area you're in, and depending how close you are in distance, points are given. There are five rounds in a game. Post your highest final score after 5 rounds. http://www.Geoguessr.com PS: No cheating and running off to google search.

  18. Apologies for that, it should be fixed now :)
  19. It's definitely in decline, there's been a number of studies that have shown this. I don't think any true believer would say that they don't believe for the sake of it. In fact, denying that you are a believer is a BIG no-no in the bible, and by doing so they're as good as non-believers anyway. In the Catholic faith in particular, it is a mortal sin. I don't think anyone can be surprised that it's in decline now though... I'm surprised it's lasted this long.

  22. I've never understood the general love for Metallica. They have one or two decent songs, but they are probably up there as one of the most over-rated bands in my opinion. Nirvana I can appreciate, but also very over-rated in my opinion. And the typical fan base is generally pretentious enough to taint the band.
  23. Well, that is usually when the error crops up ;) The Cron runs at around 2:30am for the US, as far as I know. Of course that equates to early morning for the UK. Timezones mean we will always have one group who has the cron running during their 'peak' hours.
  24. This user posted several ads offering skydiving gear, using the name Stanley Pedro in his registration. Should you have contacted,or be in contact with this seller - be aware that they are a scammer and will not deliver the item they're advertising, and just steal your money. We have removed all the user's adverts and disabled the user from the site.
  25. This is a bit of a mystery error that pops up once in a while, usually only lasts a minute or two and then disappears. It is likely due to our cron job that runs once a day.
