I have had a national 28' in a 24' chest, it fit about but not quite as good as the original 24' canopy. I dont think a national 24' would bulk out the pack well. Also I believe the maximum suspended weight on an old national 24' is pretty light to be jumping surplus sport stuff with it. This may be a good place to ask also....does anybody know where I can get a copy of manufacturers/dom/ser #'s that apply to the acid mesh service bulletin, I had it compiled somewhere now I cant find it anywhere.

What's that for? Picking blackberries on the way back from an out landing? If it all goes bad, pull the bag out, hold the corners, shake it open like a 24', and plf real good. Seriously though I have a pull up cord and a plastic bag, if the ground is conducive, I would field pack, if its wet or nasty, I put the canopy in the bag, tie it off with the cord and throw it over my shoulder.

slow left turn only correctable by deep right brakes. reserve landed in this configeration "That would have nothing to do with packing. " ............................................................................................... funny you mention that, the only raven reserve I jumped needed shoulder height right toggle to fly straight, I know of another person and different raven that had the same problem, BUT, I know of ravens that flew fine as well.
