This line I think is where the difference lies with people. Many people will say there's a million ways to live too. There's a ton of people out there experiencing life and living it to its fullest, and they may have never made a jump in their life. I'll never understand the 'camp' that thinks skydiving is the end-all be-all of things to do in life. Call it a "...passion you just don't get" or whatever, I see it as narrow-minded. This is just my feelings and my opinion, I'm not saying yours are wrong - but to believe that skydiving is the pinnacle of things to do to "live" is no better than the person who thinks that it's just a way to die. Try scuba diving, climb everest, hike across country, learn to fly a plane, take a bike through a 100 mph sweeper, help build an airstrip in Guyana (hi Karen!), learn to surf.... there is more to life. Well, I can almost see her point. She didn't force the boy to have sex with her. I doubt she even had to coerce him at all. She at least has a point in that it has different effects on the different genders - so should the punishment reflect that? EDIT: This is just my opinion - a 14-year old boy would have sex with just about any female. They just want sex.
