satisfied

lol yeah, from what everyone tells me the winters here can be a bit cold. I HAVE found a few dz's nearby and spring/early summer is sounding good with plenty of time to get my funds in order for extra things like skydiving while keeping the focus on our necessities. The good thing is she is VERY supportive of my intrest in all this and actually seems seriously fascinated lol..... not to mention my 11 year old step-son thinks it's all as cool as can be. I'm not sure if she'll ever take that first jump, but the kid is already saying he wants to when he's old enough after watching my old video lol. I took him on this zip line ride at a local zoo , which although nothing like "skydiving" , it's a bit out of his comfort zone as far as those things go...... the little guy went from a bit of fear at the edge to wanting to do it again. lol , if you had told me a year ago I'd be moving north , I'd have laughed...... but honestly this is the best decision I've ever made ! She is my soulmate and I've never been happier :) I can't wait to continue with my training and bring this part of me back into my life now. “Music and silence combine strongly because music is done with silence, and silence is full of music.”

I just moved from down south up to Michigan a couple of months ago and although I've only had one "fun" tandem and a false start with a tandem progression a couple years back thanks to our skyride buddies that I'd rather not get into lol... the bug was there from that first jump and has not escaped regardless of anything else going on in my life at various times. The confidence boost even those few jumps gave me was beyond words and transcended all areas of my life. I've been reading the boards here but really haven't posted much , yet wanted to introduce myself anyway and say hello. A lot has changed over the years and I'm married with a wonderful family along with an intense desire to get back in the air as soon as I can with good training and enjoy this sport for a very long time. :) so blue skies everyone ...
