  1. One day two brothers, Jack & John decide to go out diving for seafood. They quickly manage to fill up a sack of seafood so Jack decides to take it back to shore & grab another sack to fill. John is out at sea all by himself when he see's a shark coming towards him. Frantically he calls out to his brothr Jack who is still at shore, "Bro Help me Help me there is a shark heading straight for me." Jack calls back "Yeah Im coming bro" John is freaking out, the shark swims right up to him & bites off his leg. Again he is calling out to Jack who is still at the shoreline "Bro come and help me, the sharks bitten off one of my legs. Jack yells back "yeah hold on Im coming!!" John tries to stay calm and wait for his brother but then the shark bites off one of his arms. He yells back to his brother Jack "Hurry!! Come and help me the shark has bitten off my arm and my leg." Jack calls back "Hold on Im coming!!!" Then the shark bites off his other leg, John yells "Jack you have to come & save me. The shark has bitten off both my legs and an arm." And as usual Jack replies. "Just wait Im coming" The shark then bites off Johns other arm. Now John has no arms or legs. His brother finally arrives to save him. Come on bro, get on my back & I will swim you back to shore. When they get to the shoreline Jack says with an exhausted sigh "I feel fucked" And John replies "Well I had to hold on some how!!!" I dont lie, cheat or steal. I make money. BOOOOM
  2. Well no ones perfect? Skyride isn't gods gift to man. If it means it got me involved in a sport that I can really get into, then I can be thankful for that. I see the light everyday I am at work.
  3. DSE is correct, as a skyride employee I was very thankful to have been charged nothing the day I was there except for a hamburger and some water. Sometimes knowing the right people has perks. USPA or not, these guys know their shit. Just wanna give a shout out to the haters to keep hating. Mad respect for those who do this for a living.
  4. Alright let's lose the troll nametag. I think I will upload the video onto youtube so you guys can give me some reviews and constructive criticism. God damn it was an intense feeling being the first one out the plane on the last load of the day. Felt like walking out on stage to perform a solo. Again thanks to the staff at ASC for getting all of us up in the sky and down safely as well. The thing that I thought was interesting was that the videographer actually had a pretty hard opening which you can see on the video. But he's a tough guy and laughed it off. they offered AFF package for 1k. reasonable price.
  5. Our plan is to use our tax return money to get certified. Was kinda surprised ASC is not affiliated with the USPA..show me some better skydivers then please. The guy I went up with had over 1700 jumps logged. Was also impressed with the precision involved with the chute packing going on throughout the day. cheers
  6. Made my first tandem jump from only at 11.5 due to it being 7:30pm and the plane being somewhat low on the fuel from the day. Had a Fuckin blast. Video and Pictures are perfect.
  7. "troll came, troll got busted?" now thats some goofy shit right there. Anyway, sorry for not replaying back so quickly but thank you for the quick responses. I made the posts while I was at work and been out past 2 nights with friends. Insulting newcomers seems pretty weird. I have been trying to get up in the sky the last 2 months with a friend of mine who is an instructor but our schedules have been conflicting so I thought I would ask a few questions beforehand. From all the videos I have seen it seems like a total blast and probably somewhat life-changing. I appreciate the information about the hard opening. I'll save other questions for the instructors at the drop zone. Blue skies
  8. my nuts don't want to be squeezed my friend. If I'm 6'5 175 what kinda chute system would you recommend?
  9. I have been working for a skydiving reservation service for quite some time now. I have been reading tons of information regarding skydiving. Primarily researching different accidents that have happened recently to various people. One incident that seemed intense was a gentlemen our of Prattville who experienced a hard opening. If someone could explain what that means? Does this happen frequently? Sounds almost like being in a high speed car crash in the air where your internal organs undergo intense stress? If this post isnt appropriate for this forum you can delete. Just wondering what could cause such a harsh opening. Does it depend on the size of the chute? I live in Atlanta.
