Well, we've been discussing the meaning of life... It's not a problem, it's life. Do people need logic to fall in love? Do they need science to figure out whether they are heterosexual or not? Is a person's compasion dependent on some objective evidence? No, it's all internal...self evident. Same with the belief in God who gives meaning to life. Many of the decisions we make in life are made intuitively, especially in high pressure situations that may be time sensitive and rather ambiguous...This scares many people, primarily those who display some type of control freakish and would rather limit themselves to the shelter provided by scientific absolutes...unfortunately for them, we're not automatons. As beneficial as science and logic are to life, they are not the quintessential elements of it...I find this whole attitude of science being some end all be, to be rather imperious. Good, that's not their job. People like Dick Dawkins could take a que from them and not srut around like a pompous ass interjecting his musings about faith while hiding behind science...perhaps that'll help to alleviate your "sticker" problem a bit. Just began watching Dual Survival on Netflix, Awesome Show! Much more entertainment/survival value than suviorman and Bear....Lot's of awesome hunting....almost unreal. A must see. These two guys together pretty much sum up the majority of my personality...They will kill when needed, but they have such a respect for nature and life.
