A while back I made a post about the idea of freefly. This is nothing more than a continuation of that post, and a friendly reminder to keep your mind open and free. When learning to freefly, people often get stuck with this idea that the definition of freefly is "to fly in any vertical position". It's not about being vertical, nor about being upright or inverted. The definition of freefly is flying on all axis, on every surface of your body. Only seeing the vertical will limit you to your feet and your head. To truly be free, you must use every surface, every position, every orientation. Don't limit yourself to static ideas of positions and orientations. Experiment with different angles, different positions, different ways to get your body to go where you want it to. Be free. Okay, so I took off the screws on my Altimaster Galaxy to replace the wrist strap. Now I notice that these screws not only mount the strap, but if they're tightened a bit much, it makes the dial hard as hell to set.
