  1. I would say you're too old NOT to jump. If you love it and you have the means then DO IT.
  2. HEY! I are one of those x-ray peeps (well I didn't take his x-ray's), and sometimes the friggin patient just doenst follow simple instructions. Muff #5048
  3. Im curioius if it makes any difference. What I DO know is that I use to psyco pack all the time......until that 1200' deployment sequence. I was kind of almost afraid during that one. Edit: Would there be any way of getting a vid of someone doing this (only the part from squishing the air out to getting the bag closed)? Muff #5048
  4. That sounds like an interresting method to try. Question, once you get the air out and the canopy roughly the same width as the bag do you roll downward (see pic #1) or do you roll it back towards you (see pic #2)? Muff #5048
  5. I'm curious as to how much that raises the price of the canopy. Muff #5048
  6. What would you tell someone with several hours of tunnel time with 200 jumps? Muff #5048
  7. Keep us posted, okay? Spot, if you get a chance to read this, we're all thinking of you and wanting you to heal fast. You'll make it back.

  10. I'm actually curious as to why they dont make the housings on these things (Viso, Neptune, Protrack etc) out of aluminium. Its light and strong, but meh.. what really do I know about how these things are manufactured? Muff #5048
  11. If Mr Spot isn't ready to post a pic of his Ball. I sure hope his internet family at a mimimum gets to see his x-rays. There's a long tradition in skydiving "if we don't get to see the pics it didn't happen". Some of the more memorable incidents that have been documented on the net were Dead Mike (he lived
  12. True. I hate seeing my friends in pain.....and since I dont have many friends its a little harder. At least he's recovering.
  13. probably not. Good to see he can still laugh although it causes him pain. Muff #5048
  14. He didnt move very much while I was there, however, we did transfere him from his bed to a bed with a traction bar on it. Of course while we were moving him he made a comment about having it so good to have 7 pretty women touching him. Good thing I wasnt drinking anything when he said that. Muff #5048
  15. So glad I got to see you this afternoon man. For anyone who's interested Spot still has that sense of humor. Keep the best wishes stuff coming. They mean a lot to him. As an aside, after looking at his x-rays I think they put him back togeather with parts from Home Depot. Muff #5048
  16. Naw, go fast, get married. You want to hang onto the cute ones like that. Yes. We know YOU do. Muff #5048
  17. Nevermind that last post. Here you go.
  18. Im not sure. If I were you I would call a major gear maker like PD or Sunpath. They always seem to have them with their logo's on them so maybe they would know. Muff #5048
  19. 1200', 750', and 375' IIRC. Just be sure to use the MK-1 eyeball more than relying on that. On windier days total reliance on that audible can put you in places you dont want to be (I speak from experience). Muff #5048
