    I'm over from Oz workin in Zambia at the moment and completely forgot it was on. I would've come down and done some photography. Hurry up and post the photos. :P Unfortunately I'll be back in Oz by the time the world comp is on.

    The doc that operated on me said no flying for 3 months. (And no scuba ever.) Was a few years before I got into skydiving. When I went back and asked a few different doc's about skydiving they were all very non-commital in giving an answer.

    Before did my first jump and found out about the skydiving forums I asked this on the local bike forum and go the following reply. ***hmmm dugy well I have had lets see mmmm 5 on the right lung and 3 on the left and stil jumped out of planes oh and 2 on the right were punctures not spontaneous I had a spontaneous one that didn't stay up and I had to spend a week in hospital connected to a suction pump.

    Hungary/Slovakia/Austria/Czech: Best DZ's for Jumping & Accommodation? All things going to plan I should be heading thru Hungary/Slovakia/Austria/Czech mid July. I've gone thru the Dropzone reviews and guides, but some of the websites aren't in english so it makes it tricky. What ones would people recommend for jumping & accommodation and actually being able to get there from the capitals. Cheers. :)

    For sure for most stuff you'd do that. I've just found on some fun jumps we've often never got around to it and then the footage eventually forgotten. Basically I'm stuck trying to find a new handcam at the moment so was looking at that one, on special at the local shop for AUD$439. The only models I can find locally that don't have optical stabilisation are the HC52, DVD610, SR45 & HC5. The HC52 being 4:3 and not native widescreen. The SR45 being twice the price. The HC5 about 3 times the price. Just trying to get into camera flying "on the cheap"... Any other alternatives out there I'm missing? Or would it be worth going all out on the HC5?

    What if you were using something like a Sony DCR-DVD610 but recording to flash memory-stick instead of DVD? Then when your on the ground if you're just filming a funjump you can copy it straight off the flash memory and onto a mini-DVD without going near a dubbing room or pc....?
