Well, I'm back now and I have to say that it was a great experience. The DZ staff and instructors were all supreme. My jumpmasters were Mike Gruwell and Sandy Paulsen, and both did as great of a job as ever could be expected of them. Had a great time spending the day with Andy over there, stories and experience all around. The actual jump went great and the view from up there was amazing!
Anyways, in response to the whole getting it done here or waiting a month thing. A big reason why I finally was able to make the decision to jump is because I found a DZ here in Georgia that I felt confident enough in to trust them with my first jump.
Overall, the experience was great. I will definitely be doing it again soon and go from there, after all, I got a logbook, I guess I just have to use it now :)
Thanks for all for the well wishes and the same to you!
