I sent an email to a rigger over SunPath this is what they said: A Triathlon 175 will fit into J2 but it will be tight. If it is an older one with a few jumps it will be a little easier for you. This was a complete rig minus the Monarch 175. Everything else is with it. I just want to put a Tri-175 into it.

I checked out Javelin's website and they say a 175 will fit. Am I wrong? They guy who owns it jumped a Monarch 175 in it.

First of all what is a slink? I know they connect the main/reserve to the risers. Do I need them? Should I get them? How often do thy need to be replaced?

Am I correct that everything from the risers up to the top skin is considered part of the canopy? What about the actual rings that lines connect to and their covers? I bought a complete rig and want to put a different main in it (same size). The plastic ring covers that the lines connect to are "chewed-up" . Do these come with a new canopy? What are these covers called?
