hello phil, welcome to our world!!! USED to be an IE (industerial engineer) and wanting to find a job again (same field) badly. sounds like skydiving in your blood. its normal not being able to think about anything but skydiving now that you have done it and want to continue..... BUT....it cost money to skydive so keep your day job, stay focused and jump your ass off on your days off Blues Skies, Tami

omg...a good friend of mine gave me the same book after i started skydiving.....she said i wasnt happy with my life unless i was surrounded by Havoc and when i started skydiving she thought i hit rock bottom so hence the book blues, tami

You did the right thing when saving him sky med...that’s why you are who and what you are “a medic”. It’s ok to feel the anger towards him…but in your field of work, you CANT act upon it!!! Bottom line, he sounds like he is definitely a very sick person (homeless – alcoholic)…..you never know what he was in his past “healthy life”! He might have been a sweet and educated man with his own family. Maybe his life just went to shit and he just never recovered! “You Never Know” I say this because I met a lot of homeless while working for the Salvation Army and some were in pretty bad shape. They were spit on, called dirty rotten pigs and no good lushes....I really felt sorry for them. After one of them passed away, I met a family member. Turned out Sarg (his street nickname) really was a Sergeant.....a Decorated War 2 Hero! Very true story Blue Skies,

your point is very well taken....but what about the accidents that are....well just that!!!!! i would REALLY suggest that you dont mess with anyone until you have finished your training. a dzo who turned out to be a very good friend noticed i was getting hit on when i first started training and recommended the same thing to me (dont do it). to put it very blunt "dont let ya fu%king interfer with ya jumping". the last thing you need as a student is to feel uncomfortable at the dz. right now...make tons of new friends and then later pick the one you want to play with blues, tami -
Do it meg!!!! The payoff (finishing school faster along with less stress from working full time and going to school) is well worth it. I was working full time and doing the school thing too and it dam near killed me, well not really but it sucked! Think about it...you will hardly be there anyway....and sounds like your parents are great and supportive folks!!! pssss....MORE JUMP MONEY!!! Good luck, Tami
