That was the one (someone previously suggested). I think they might be a bit cheaper. Thanks Oh and is the general advice - 'Get your rig insured', wether or not your going abroad??? Unless of course the rig is nto worth insuring.

Woooow - thats hefty. Tescos dont do skydive insurance, it is considered an unescessary risk!

Hey, Im off to Elsinore for two weeks in December (yiiiipeeeeee). I need to take out some insurace. Last year I used Harrison Beaumont. But, I have heard that their prices have gone right up. Does anyone know of a company that provides skydiving insurance at a good price???? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks :)

I'd be happier jumping in stronger constant winds, than gusty winds. But, I would not jump at all if I was not sure. Recently, on a strong, but constant windy day, I deployed into wind. Despite uging front risers, I went backwards all the way down. Got blown righ off the DZ. Its not too nice trying to work out where your gonna land by looking behind you. Mind you I was jumping a big canopy!! DOH

Try living in the UK! Its shit. You get a clear day and the winds are screaming. My nearest DZ is 1hr 15mins away! I have not jumped for a month :( Its grey and miserable

Have to agree. Nightclubs are expensive and you cant hear yourself think, let alone chat to anyone. Bars with mates etc are much better. :)

I see your point. There is no point rushing into one an eliptical. He could go for a 135 non eliptical. But, as stated, its up to him. Maybe he could get advice from an instructor that knows his canopy skills. If he is ready to make that leap onto an eliptical, then he should go for it, but treat it with respect. Get advice. He should maybe test jump a demo eliptical.

Ya would not catch me with a round reserve! If your under a reserve your probably gonna be low. I know you can stear rounds these days, but its not quite the same as having a square. My life is worth the extra doh. Pay the etra.
