Here's the minimum of what you'll need: • A 1.5-gigahertz Intel Pentium 4 chip or AMD Athlon 1500. • 384 megabytes of memory. • Two gigabytes of hard drive space. • An nVidia GeForce 3 graphics card or better; or an ATI Technologies 8500 or better. http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/tech/weekly/2690450 "Your mother's full of stupidjuice!" 8. Considering that FireFox has all the extra extensions that do all sorts of cool things like let you block ads and popups, among all sorts of other things, and considering that it works just as well as IE, FireFox is sweet! Sort of surprised I stayed away from it for so long. FireFox is the Mozilla version of Internet Explorer, for those of you thinking "WTF". http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ "Your mother's full of stupidjuice!" My Art Project
  9. I watched the premiere of the Amazing Race last night, but I've yet to be impressed by it. Seems to me that very little of the teams' skills had anything to do with who got eliminated, it was all basically luck. And while that is still better all the stupid politicking and voting people off, that most other shows tend to do, it's still not very interesting. And considering that the only skill that was even sort of beneficial to the teams was being observant, it seems like an awefully stressful show to watch all these people frantically getting pissed at each other just to see who get's lucky most often and sees the "flags" in the right order. Maybe the second episode will rely more on teamwork, and clever thinking, like everything I've heard about this show claims, but the first episode wasn't a very good indicator that it will be that way. 10. So what's the deal, do I have to do anything special in order to set up a tent in Tent City, or is it basically just "put it whereever you can find a spot"? I ask because I know that getting one of the RV spots with water and electricity costs money, but can't find anything specifically referencing any procedures for if someone just wants to set up a tent. Also, where do we all park our cars? Is there just a huge parking lot? "Your mother's full of stupidjuice!" My Art Project
  11. Nothing interesting about them. They're just another email acount. It is kinda nice not to have the giant picture ads that take up 2/5th of your screen though.
  12. Seems like way too much effort and time, for not that impressive a pay-off...

  16. I think she can't get a date, because she has a very unrealistic standard for guys she meets. Thus, she probably dismisses most guys as not even potentials because of the kind of high profile relationships she's used to. Interestingly enough, I was having a conversation with someone about whether I would date a woman who is significantly older than me (as is the case with Nicole Kidman). While age may be a factor, it's a fairly small one for me. And yes, I would date her assuming there were some sort of connection felt between the two of us. (I'd probably date her once regardless. ) "Your mother's full of stupidjuice!" My Art Project

  19. Yea, I just looked at the sheet music for each song. Not the same (the notes don't go up and down together, and just generally don't match up). "Your mother's full of stupidjuice!" My Art Project

  21. I always thought the rule was determined by taking all others out of the sentence. While your particular sentence makes that seem trickier, it can still be done: ". . . between me and myself." vs. ". . . between I and myself." So I'd have to say your boss was right on this one. Should be "me." "Your mother's full of stupidjuice!" My Art Project
