  1. Wow!!! Thanx everybody :). Beers all around on me! ------------------------------------------------------ Remember kids, eagles may soar, but at least weasels dont get sucked into jet engines.
  2. It didnt like that at all. It was worth a shot though. ------------------------------------------------------ Remember kids, eagles may soar, but at least weasels dont get sucked into jet engines.
  3. I tried it again with the '&' and it made absolutely no difference in what the program does. Arrghh! Thanks for the help though. Hopefully somebody else can add some insight. Here is the source code if you want to look further at it. ------------------------------------------------------ Remember kids, eagles may soar, but at least weasels dont get sucked into jet engines. project4a.c
  4. Ok, I have compiled my program, and it runs, but it isnt doing what it should be. Basicaly, I'm suppose to get a list of numbers from a file and dump them into an array and then calculate the contents and stuff. I can work with the arrays fine when they have the right data in them. I think my problem is taking the information from the file and putting it into the array. The file is basically just a list of numbers. This is what I am doing now: fscanf(inputx,"%d",inputarrayx); Do I need to put a "&" before the array?? Hopefully somebody knows C programming enough to help me out. -Chris ------------------------------------------------------ Remember kids, eagles may soar, but at least weasels dont get sucked into jet engines.
  5. I wish I could get my mind off of skydiving. Then maybe I'd pay attention in class rather than thinking about it. They need to have a skydiving major. Afterall, this is Embry-Riddle AERONAUTICAL Univesity. Not that that would be realistic, but nonetheless. Maybe the could make it a minor. Crappy Aeronautical Science students could take it to practice bailing out. ------------------------------------------------------ Remember kids, eagles may soar, but at least weasels dont get sucked into jet engines.
  6. I've only seen RW guys do this postion. Bascially, they are vertical and sitting on their knees. Anybody know what I am talking about?? What is that called? How does one get into that position? ------------------------------------------------------ Remember kids, eagles may soar, but at least weasels dont get sucked into jet engines.
  7. I'd rather see somebody go that fast with something that resembles a more traditional reciprocating internal combustion engine. Strapping a friggin jet engine to a car kinda seems like cheating to me. Besides, all that thing is is an F-104 Starfighter with no wings, more conventional wheels, and an F-4's engine. ------------------------------------------------------ Remember kids, eagles may soar, but at least weasels dont get sucked into jet engines.
  8. Damn, how come it seems that most used gear will only accomodate smaller canopies, and why does it also seem that nothing bigger than 200 sq ft exists on the used market. Sheesh!! ------------------------------------------------------ Remember kids, eagles may soar, but at least weasels dont get sucked into jet engines.
  9. WWWWWWOOOOHOOOOOO!!!! GRACIAS!! ------------------------------------------------------ Remember kids, eagles may soar, but at least weasels dont get sucked into jet engines.
  10. Oh, I'm sure that we wouldnt cause anybody to not join because of the cost of dues, but still, people would get pissed off. Oh well, I guess that's the price ya pay for being an officer. Cant please everybody, though I'd like to try. ------------------------------------------------------ Remember kids, eagles may soar, but at least weasels dont get sucked into jet engines.
  11. We are at ERAU. Basically decided to ground one of our rigs because it is getting old and the main doest flare right anymore (too porous). We also had a lot of first time jumpers join this semester too, so the demand for club gear is up. Unfortunately, I'm thinking of increasing club fees if we cant get enough money from fundraising. Though, we do only charge $15 to join now. Of course that is because the sport is already expensive enough. ------------------------------------------------------ Remember kids, eagles may soar, but at least weasels dont get sucked into jet engines.
  12. hmmm, all good ideas, thanks! ------------------------------------------------------ Remember kids, eagles may soar, but at least weasels dont get sucked into jet engines.
  13. so would you charge an entry fee or something for that? ------------------------------------------------------ Remember kids, eagles may soar, but at least weasels dont get sucked into jet engines.
  14. yeah, we want non jumper events too so we can hit our fellow students on campus up for money. hit n chug sounds fun excpet for the whole alchohol and jumping thing, maybe we could use something non alchoholic ------------------------------------------------------ Remember kids, eagles may soar, but at least weasels dont get sucked into jet engines.

My mom is obsessed with that stuff. She used to be in one of the bands. I personally know nothing of it though. ------------------------------------------------------ Remember kids, eagles may soar, but at least weasels dont get sucked into jet engines.
  18. I asked the guy how he aquired it. It will be interesting to see what his reply is. ------------------------------------------------------ Remember kids, eagles may soar, but at least weasels dont get sucked into jet engines.
  19. That's even worse than that damn aquarium game. ------------------------------------------------------ Remember kids, eagles may soar, but at least weasels dont get sucked into jet engines.
  20. Yes, my idea of Daytona Beach being this tropical paradise with beautiful women was shattered probably after my second week of freshman year. Oh well. At least we have a decent spring break. And it's not like spring breakers give a shit about ordinances like that anyway. ------------------------------------------------------ Remember kids, eagles may soar, but at least weasels dont get sucked into jet engines.
  21. Considering that I managed to successfully (i think anyway) take apart my laptop and put it back together lastnight, that I would be up to the challenge of choice C. ------------------------------------------------------ Remember kids, eagles may soar, but at least weasels dont get sucked into jet engines.
  22. I think that I'm worse than a person that doesnt know computers. I see myself as a person that thinks he knows computers. In fact, last night, I had my laptop spread out all over the kitchen table. Surprised the thing still works. I wonder where all of those left over screws go though. ------------------------------------------------------ Remember kids, eagles may soar, but at least weasels dont get sucked into jet engines.
  23. you bastard! Why cant we all be so fortunate? ------------------------------------------------------ Remember kids, eagles may soar, but at least weasels dont get sucked into jet engines.

  25. This summer my friends and I launched a whole bunch of model rockets way higher than we should have. Hence launching them at night. (we're talking J and G engines here) We tracked them with glow sticks fine They went well over 1,000 feet. As far as the sticks getting covered by canopy after a cutaway ...well, that's a whole other issue. ------------------------------------------------------ Remember kids, eagles may soar, but at least weasels dont get sucked into jet engines.
