some jumper on my dz has some wild offheading while opening, at least 360. i never seen something like that. when i asked him is that cause a type of canopy, he said that he rolls one side of a canopy and other leaves open. i was wondering if you roll one side will this really happen. it's more likely that he will have some line twist when he do that. maybe that what he said was only a joke

If you pack some large canopy (foil or something like that) so that one side stays completely open and other is rolled, what do you think will happen. Will this results a line twist or maybe just some off-heading while opening?
