    we had exactly the same malfunction (bridle wrapped around the closing loop) at our dz 2 weeks before.. it was an IAD student`s first jump. got 30 sec of freefall before pulling the reserve. his second jump, a successful IAD with no freefall, was a real disappointment to him..
