This is article is a crock. I am a "non-white" person. I worked my ass off in high school and life to get into one of the best colleges in the country, not because of the color of my skin, but what I learned. Now I am in my final year at the Academy, and will soon be a 2Lt in the Air Force. I have never depended on what I look like, but what I have learned to get me through life. Would that be a bad thing? Maybe USPA will morph into something that can better represent jumpers and their interests. Hell if I could just pay for my subcription of Parachutist and license/award fees, I'd be happy. I just bought one, and it seems to act exactly like a Cypres 1, is there anything besides the water resistant case, longer battery life that would justify the extra cost?
