I feel for ya there, as I'm in the same position as you. After comtemplating selling my car for a few months...was once my pride and joy!...I sadly bumped someone whilst in one of those dazes you sometimes get into...probably was staring at the clouds! :-) .....It's OK I thought! Insurance will cover it, but alas my excess was in the region of 450 squid! I couldn't believe it!! I've just got my A Licence after spending all my money on jumps..so I'm skint!.....And I've got this car to repair which I've not yet received the bill for! .. it goes on... So I'm in the car on Wednesday in Edinburgh dropping my friend off and I notice the temperature of the engine is off the scale..Bloody radiator blew... I've not had that DAM car on the road for a month, cause of the damage and the lack of dosh jumping. Now on Monday morining I've put it back in the garage to have it repaired again!!!!! as there could have been some more damage done during short drive back to my flat. more dosh!! So I'm waiting for a consolidated bill that will put my stomach in my mouth when I finally see it, And I'm still paying for the freggin motor!! All I want to do and wanted to do for ages, is save for my rig and do a bit of country hopping visiting DZ, get my jump numbers up and have some good old fun....but it just aint happening..every once in a while something like this happens. I'm telling ya. I'm wasting my youth working in an office all day to pay for all this crap! And I've not jumped in over a month! Sell the motor, pay off the garage bill, buy a small 10 year of fiesta to get me to the DZ and save like a banshee!! Next Summer is going to be wild! P.S. Does anyone want to by a motor?
