One that wouldn't allow people like the V. Tech shooter to slip through the cracks. So you want the government to maintain a database with individuals medical information to be used during background checks? "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

Once again, how would you accomplish this? Better background checks would be a good place to start. Ok. But who would do the background checks and what information would be contained in the background checks? "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

I don't see the problem. You drank, danced, and then sprained your ankle which allows all the gentlemen that watched you dance a chance to offer you an arm and a place to lay down ... to rest your ankle of course. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

How should the background check be implemented then? More thoroughly. Such as ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

You should have joined the 30-way tracking dive. I'm sure it looked similar from the ground ... Sorry it didn't work out for you and everyone else. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

No. I thought, as a professor, you would be smart enough to know that. Edit: The truth about Snopes. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

Depends on the crime. When it comes to narcotics, the rich go to rehab while the poor go to prison ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch -
The only surprise I want from the pilot is extra altitude. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

Should abortion be allowed in cases of rape or incest?
Butters replied to kallend's topic in Speakers Corner
There are conditions regarding the females choice. However, there aren't any conditions regarding the males choice. I believe that if the female has the choice to abort then the male should have the choice to give up parental rights and financial responsibility. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch -

Agreed (but should have certain conditions). "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch -
Trust me, I do things because I want to do them not because others are doing them. So far, what I've been told about myself (from people I trust) appears to coincide with what I believe about myself. Thus, the question is, do I do what others would do because of the amount of risk they're willing to accept (pull high) or continue to do what I want to do because of the amount of risk I'm willing to accept (pull low)? ... is going to apply to wingsuiters. Seeing you started wingsuit flying before the minimal manufacturers specifications for that piece of gear, I think you already have that answer in your hand Yeah, I know I didn't follow many of the recommendations. I'm beginning to feel very (possibly over) confident and have always enjoyed pulling lower so ... I should (need to) keep myself in check. Edit: Couch Freaks didn't help. "That looks dangerous." I know that there are plenty of variables. However, I'm hoping to learn what the average altitude people are comfortable deploying at is (please correct me if I'm wrong but the average altitude used to be 4,000 feet). I'm also wondering if ... ... is going to apply to wingsuiters. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

Other relevant information: wingsuit, number of wingsuit jumps, canopy, canopy wingloading, etc... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

A little change ... I believe there will be ignorant individuals who vote based on race. However, I believe those ignorant individuals will be both black and white. Hopefully, their votes will cancel each others out. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

I disagree. I think that gun rights have been discussed plenty (by the Democrats, Republicans, and Media) and that individuals can make choices that will affect their gun rights unlike other issues. OK. But my experience has been that the ONLY place in the news that gun rights gets discussed is on the letters-to-the-editor page. Occasionally the print news is kind of forced to write a story about some development of national significance, or the news like in Texas about some school district that is allowing teachers with some sort of special hostage training to carry guns on the job. But every time I see a Time magazine article comparing candidates, or a newspaper article doing the same, and there's a sidebar with info on "the issues," gun rights is NOT THERE. That is indeed one way of manipulating what issues people are thinking about, or getting information about. But you know where the Democrats and Republicans stand on the gun rights issue and thus can make an informed decision that will affect your gun rights. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

I believe you. However, I doubt the lawyers (along with a few other people) would allow it ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
