Wanted to say "Hi" to others on the board. Had my jumps #3 and #4 yesterday at the Archway (Vandalia IL). Definitely getting hooked on this. Was far more relaxed jump than my first two jumps (at different drop zones) - but maybe this is because I was jumping on a very slow day. Instructor John Gehry(sp?), many thanks to him, spent time to get me to relax first - (the previous two dives' instructors were just instilling fear by "if you do not do what I say, we are going to DIE").[email] Awesome experience, looking forward to FJC and my first AFF jump. I'm from NYC - so I might see y'all at the Ranch - where my friends who got my to skydive (Hi Max!) are jumping. Funnily, I didn't get to jump with them just yet. :) Oh, and my two cents of advice to prospective tandem jumper - shave before jumping! 4-day stubble *hurt* when you are flying through the air - at least in my case. I have no idea how do tandem jumpers who have beards feel :)
