  1. Is that the press liazon leaking unofficial info??? I haven't been out a 3 in a couple years!!
  2. I think you handled that on your own!! A good hosing down was a proper answer!
  3. Tree from x-keys has got to be 6'9" to 6'11"!! I'm 6'2 and he towers over me
  4. WHOOOOOAAA!!! I see I need to visit the other threads more often! The rules never change....they've been developed over years of experimenting and drinking. I remember my young years back in Canton when I was a Zoomie Master wantabee.......I refer you to Page 4 of the ZMIM.. Section 2-1 A: The zoomie student MUST clear head level on 5 CONSECUTIVE(tami, that means IN A ROW) zoomies to achieve the Zoomie Master Rating. 2-2 A: The potential Master may NOT assist the Zoomie to get it to rise. They may use inside zen zoomieism to mentally assist it. NO PHYSICAL HELP THOUGH! 2-2 A sub1: The potential Master MAY block the upwind side & have other members block also. **These are the core rules** others: Section3-1: Use of virgin spit is recommended to seal the bottom of the zoomie. Section3-1A: If virgin spit is unavailable, jumper spit OR top shelf beer can be substituted.(cheap beer will anger the zoomie gods) Section 3-3: Once one achieves the status of Zoomie Master, they will forever be known as a Zoomie Master. Section 3-3.1: They may attempt to bring their rating current at any time. If the ZM fails it will not affect his rating. Section3-3.2: Although once achieved, you'll never loose the title, To be titled as a "current" ZM you must have performed and completed the requirements set forth in Section 2-1 A within the previous year. So since I sent 7 in a row up 2 weeks ago....I guess I'm a "current" Zoomie Master!!! And it's not a title Jean..It's a rating! I know several dozen ZM's here in Fl and Ohio. Maybe someday after years of training you'll become a ZM and I'll induct you to the membership and we will fully inform you stuff like who is the current ILLUSTRIOUS POTENTATE de ZOOMIE is!
  5. What? they're only blowing to 38 mph here in Palatka!!
  6. MY record is 19 in one day. 18 tandems and 1 aff. I had several 14-17 tandem days and 12-16 four way training days in front of the camera and behind it. My favorite days started early, did 14-16 jumps and was done having a beer by 3:30!! I do know of a couple people @ x-keys who have done 21+!!!
  7. That wasn't suppossed to be a shot.... Well, maybe you got some displaced anger about the rain...sry!
  8. Sitting her watching the winds.....pretty steady in the 10-15 range... What do you call the day after two horrible days of rain and wind....... Monday
  9. Your alarms should have been going off a several posts ago!
  10. They will catch you up at the boogie!!
  11. That's because your on DOUBLE TOP SECRET PROBATION!! Really,I don't know the details yet, I was just told to be around tmr morning........
  12. Wow! You just talked about every single jump you have! No, i really like florida. It's just depressing when your paycheck depends on jumping and you sit and watch it rain. Knowing I could have done 12 working jumps this weekend and waking up to see blue skies/steady winds just me! All well, were flying everyday this week but today.
  13. Got your back Chris! I can give you a "inside tip" about the chopper that most people don't know about....But make sure you wear a camera so you can video their face when it happens! OH, I want to watch you slow that velo down to "normal" speed for landing!
  14. It would have to be early, the tandems are for 10 I found out today. But I'm sure we can round up enough people in the afternoon.
  15. Bring it on!! My record is 19....18 tandems and 1 aff! Next Sat is only a 1/2 day of work!
  16. [Chef's voice] OH NO children, it's on now? I didn't see anybody getting served on the thread, and now IT'S ON?! [/Chef's voice] Are we there yet?
  17. Well now its time to begin the hunt for the elusive..... Virgins*** Uh........You've never been to Palatka have you? I'd have a hard time sacrificing someone under the age of ten! ...that was our downfall with the Zoomies last night....couldn't find ANY virgin spit!
  18. Wow! It's toasty back home! I'm sure people are running around in shorts and T-shirts(I know my brother is probably one of them!) Eric, you have something brewing in Newark this year? When I am in Ohio I'm living in Pickerington, I might have to swing by and see ya! PS: YES,.........Tequila very bad.
  19. I've been down here for 3 months.(minus a trip home for x-mas) We just had a good weekend set up and I was going to get to do some tandems, video's, and some fun from 15,000 all weekend. Now I'm debating whether or not I should start filling sandbags as the water is overflowing the landing area and is approaching manifest! We tried the sacrifice method yesterday. First the spectators, then the manifest biiootches, then finally Tandem Instructors/Students. We did try to get a couple jumpers their "Zoomie Master Rating" last night...but they fell 1 short everytime! Alright, I'm done whining about it....Where's my beer, there's always Nascar...(when in Rome)
  20. I've been sitting here the last 4 days trying to figure out which is worse. 1. Sitting in Ohio in 20 degree weather and KNOWING there's no chance in hell of getting to jump.(no expectations) or 2. Sitting in Florida watching it rain for 4 days KNOWING I COULD jump if the freakin weather would break. (plenty of expectations not met!) Half the landing area is a LAKE right now!
  21. Where the hell did you go to school.I count 20 days Well, let's see....add that to that, minus that.....carry the one(or is that a 2?) IT'S JUST GOING TO TAKE FOREVER TO GET TO MARCH!!!
  22. Just climb up the side of the basket! The only difference is now your head is right next to a furnace instead of some blades! I like balloons much better than the chopper though. Like the sound of my heartbeat racing in my ear! FYI: It's cool to jump last in the balloon and let a 2-4 way go in front of you. With that much weight leaving, you shoot like a rocket. Watching the nylon distort and climbing 3000' a min without an engine ROCKS! Blue, I'm looking forward to meeting you also! Along with a few others I havn't met yet! I won't touch that one! Created a cool visual though. Not going to Dublin? What will YOU be doing 3 weeks from right now?
  23. My scariest jumps were from this helicopter!! ..but then there was somebody attached to me, we weren't going real high, and I had a sliver of land between the ocean and a city to land on! Can't wait to jump it again!! Can we try and sell "Extreme Chopper Tandems" to the locals?
  24. Boy! We've got a tangled web of blackmail video goin down here!!!!
